Amazing doctor

He has been taking care of my health issue for almost eight years. He is always very pleasant and caring. He treats me like I was his own family member. For a cancer patient, I am able to survive till today, due to his excellent skills and lovable personality. He is the best doctor I have ever had.

Very poor bedside manner. He prescribed me a two week mega dose of the medicine Cipro that devastated my life. I Ruptured two tendons in my elbow which required surgery and have had life changing chronic tendonitis throughout my body since taking the Cipro many years ago. The Doctor never warned me of the possible life changing side effects of this this poison and I thought I was just taking a regular antibiotic. I made a follow up appointed with Dr. Mostavavi to discuss the situation but he refused to come into the office and sent in his PA who said "you should have read the fine print on the medication guide lines and it was my responsible for taking it". She also said that since my case they were going to be more cautious of prescribing Cipro to other patients. My guess is he wasn't fully educated enough on the effects of the chemical he was prescribing me. At least he could have met with me to personally explain his actions and help me figure out this nightmare. Read Less
