Dr. Michael Dombek, DPM

After a consultation with my general practitioner, regarding toe pain, I was referred to Dombeck, who then evaluated me and ordered imagery. After receiving an x-ray and awaiting another imagery appointment, I called his office to request he prescribe something to alleviate my toe nerve pain, whereupon, I was told that his reply was to 'ask your general practitioner'. This was utter nonsense that I will not tolerate! If Dombeck is either unable or unwilling to effectively assume the duties of a PODIATRIST, perhaps he should retire. I am DONE with his clinic and will seek healthcare elsewhere.

I had an appointment at 2:30 today. They called yesterday and asked if I could come in at 1030 and I said yes. This morning they called and said I could NOT come in, even though Dr Dombek was seeing other patients in the office. I asked Why not? I answered their 3 questions NO. I have not been sick with anything in several years. I am not now sick either. I was curious if somehow I had contracted the Covid 19 virus, so I purchased a self administered and self evaluated kit which gave me the test results in 10 mins. It was negative for IGM and IGG. That means I have not had it and do not currently have it. The office staff and doctor demanded I show proof that I was negative. I explained the above again to the staff but they didn't care. They said I could reschedule in two weeks. I am a SWA Airline Captain Ret and a Ret Major in the USAF. They would not take my word about the self rapid blood test. Can the Doctor or staff think, analyze and come to a reasonable conclusion

would not listen to what I was saying. before I was done describing what was going on with my feet he gave me a diagnostic and wanted me to take a prescription that he said my insurance would not pay for but I could purchase it from his office. I said I would think about it. 1 1/2 yrs latter I went to a different Dr. and he listened and said I did not have what Dr. Dombek said I had.

I would not recommend this doctor or Ankle and Foot Centers of GA as a whole. I had a bunionectomy that I am sure the doctor considered a success however, I was left with a hammer toe. The object of the surgery was to remove the bunion and repair the hammer toe. The staff is absolutely awful. I felt they were condesending and the front desk providers and financial consultant were just down right rude. Additionally, they overfilled me by almost $200 which was returned after 3 months.
