Dr. Shuford is the best urologist in town!
I’ve been going to see Dr. Shuford for years. He spends time listening to his patients and you never feel rushed. He is an excellent doctor and specialist!

Dr. Shuford is an excellent choice
Quickly greeted by a knowledgeable nurse. Ushered Bach within a few minutes of my appointment time. Doctor and staff make all the time needed to see me and address my issues. They even show an interest in me and put me at ease. All matters are discussed with me and they ask if I have any questions or concerns.

I have seen Dr. Shuford four times, over about four years. I have not had a major health crisis, but based on my experience so far, I have been very pleased with the doctor and the office staff. I will certainly return.

Great Doc until you have a real problem
For many years I rated this practice tops but then I really didnt have serious problems until recently. I endured over 2 months of excruciating kidney stone pain handled with zero sense of caring and urgency. Communication is subpar as direct contact with the Doctor is no longer possible. Messages are filtered by staff and responses are lacking resulting in dangerous medication conflicts, portal messages answered in weeks not days, if at all. When procedures fail the Doctor seems befuddled and his interest level in helping lessens. The feeling is that they wish you would just go away so they can deal with easier patients. Something happened to this practice, they just dont care and I'm forced to go elsewhere, which I think was their desire. Darn shame
