What a thorough caring professional
Very kind and excellent assessment. You know you are in good care. I can always count on Dr. Lavery. ie. This past month, I had tremendous pain in my right eye. Dr. Lavery helped deduced the source of my pain. (my CPAP mask leaked air at night and dried that right eye) Treatment was ointment and that cleared up my eye pain within less than one week. First time I had an appointment, was the spare of the moment at the end of the Saturday hours. I called just before 12 p.m. I had poison ivy in my eyes and Dr. Lavery stayed overtime to see me. Her treatment was immediate and the poison ivy cleared up in about a week or so. From then on, I thought, if she did not know me and I was not her patient, and she took me induring after hours; that proved to me she was certainly a person I wantrf to take care of my eyes from that point on.

Simply amazing and what every eye specialist should aspire to be. She has helped my developmentally disabled child to see her best, as well as my husband who has a detached cornea. She is kind, patient, understanding and takes her time with each and every patient. I will not go elsewhere until this amazing woman retires!

Dr. Lavery made time to see my mother, a patient of hers, the same day due to concerns that turned out, fortunately, to be not too serious. Her staff was very helpful. The receptionist has a "take charge" attitude and got us checked in and settled in the exam room which wasn't easy as my mother is in a wheelchair. Her staff is very attentive. We didn't have to wait too long to see one of her aides. A little bit later the doctor arrived and was very thorough with her exam and took time with my mother to perform a couple tests due to concerns about other conditions my mother has. Dr. Lavery and her staff take time with patients and make sure they understand what is being done and what needs to be done.

I was billed medically rather than through VSP which she is a provider for. I have no medical condition to warrant this. I was billed for a refraction test which VSP covers. When I chose an alternate pair of frames that were $50.00 less than the original I was told there would not be any reimbursement due to the insurance's discounted price on that second pair. They are dishonest and deceptive in their billing practices and some of the staff is out right rude. I encourage everyone to choose any other provider for their eye care. From the moment they asked for payment of $70.00 when I was told there would be a $40.00 copay (before I was seen by the doctor), my gut told me to leave but with the pandemic, appointments have not been that easy to get, so I stayed. I will not repeat that mistake. Please do not use this office for any services!

Amazing. Kind & very well. Has a great team helping her. I’ve been going to her for years and don’t mind at all. She’s very good at what she does and she’s is a great person overall. I hope she stays my eye doctor for longer. She’s amazing and deserves all the great recognition.

Dr. Lavery is simply amazing. She's gone above and beyond for my grown son since he was seven years old. I'm completely comfortable in the knowledge that she's the best in her field and literally trust her judgment without question. We've always joked that we hope she doesn't move her practice to California because air fare is expensive and I want Dr. Lavery in charge of his care. Thank you Dr. Lavery for looking out for my (no longer) little boy all these years!

Wait times in the are ridiculous. With an appointment you wait to see Dr lavery & Cingle over 45 minutes and then you're there for 3 hours. Equipment is antiquated. Most of the examinations are done by the technicians and not the doctor. You have to wait months to get surgery. Cataract surgery is done by partner Dr. Cingle I felt like I got stabbed in the eye. Dr lavery and Dr. single do not have the common courtesy to call you back re crucial situations they leave it tech. Finding different Dr

Dr. Lavery is an amazing doctor. Because of Dr. Lavery my daughter has 20/20 vision with her glasses on. We have been to 5 other eye doctors around the country and none compare to Dr. Lavery. She is so patient with children, so caring, and takes time to explain everything to the last detail and answer all questions. However, we have had kind eye doctors before, but none was ever able to get the results Dr. Lavery did medically. She is extremely intelligent and has excellent outcomes.
