Dr. Freeman SCOLDED me
Wow I’m not sure where to begin. I never am one to leave bad reviews but seeing that I can leave one for him directly instead of the entire business makes me feel better. Staff is great, front desk lady is super sweet… BUT Dr. Freeman was the most arrogant doctor I have ever been to. While he seems very knowledgeable, he completely ruined my experience 5 minutes into our visit.I’ve been dealing with chronic daily headaches for over a year and have notes in my phone of everything I wanted to tell him about my headaches. He got so angry that I was on my phone and scolded me to stay off my phone because I am disrespecting him. Mind you, I was looking at my phone notes to make sure I didn’t miss any details.Me and my husband were in the room and my jaw literally dropped after the way he scolded me as if I were his child.I’ve never felt more uncomfortable, and been around a doctor who lacks the bare minimum of empathy or understanding for their patient. Please steer clear.

Dr. Freeman is a national headache expert. I have been to so many doctors over the years and always struggled. I finally found a doctor who is passionate about treating only headaches. He is a very good teacher and he reviewed my chart notes and MRI scans with me. We changed my medications. He is very direct, to say the least. I didn't like his migraine diet. I am doing what he says now and my migraines are almost completely gone. It was difficult in the beginning but I got better. I used to have headaches every day for years. If you are serious about getting better, go see Dr. Freeman. Highly recommended. Nice office.

I have been treated by "Migraine specialist" for over forty years. Dr. Freeman ranks a one on the list of: compassion, sincerity, kindness, empathy, listening, and really CARING. I need a certified Headache specialist since moving to a new state... This Dr. is not the one I choose to go to very long. I sensed he was "acting" when interviewing me. He is knowledgeable, highly trained, intelligent. He also has a high opinion of himself, but no respect for other fine doctors.

I have been a patient of Dr. Freeman's for over ten years. I first began seeing him in my teens, and continued to see him after moving to Charlotte several years ago. Yesterday, I decided to not return to his practice. Dr. Freeman's bedside manner is lacking at best. He is abrupt and his demeanor suggests a lack of empathy for those that suffer migraines. For example, in one appointment (during which I actually had a migraine), I began to cry because I was in so much pain. He at first sat in s

Office staff-very friendly and helpful. PA was great. Office - nice. Dr Freeman - knowledgeable, incompassionate, arrogant, impatient, rude and obnoxious. If you do exactly what he says, fine. The moment I questioned the medication, side effects, etc, he became very upset. When asking about a specific medIcation I had researched, he accused me of being a "drug seeker." The medication was not only NOT a pain Med, you would very sick if you took any opiate with it. Very disappointed.

Freeman has the worst disposition. He may smile &act pleasant but its all an act. Ive seen him over 4 yrs, he doesn't listen to you & can't wait to leave the room. I have chronic migraine & none of the treatments have been effective. He tried very few different treatments & I felt I had to keep ASKING what else could we try. He never really offered solutions. I felt like I had to run the appointments & ask what we could try next. If you need specialized care from a Dr that cares, KEEP LOOKING
