Dr Edney did not show care, concern or empathy.
My experience with Dr Edney was poor. I asked for an appointment to discuss a recommended prostate biopsy. This appointment was fine but I did not like the biopsy process that happened about 2 months later. I received no recomendations to take OTC pain killers prior to the biopsy. Prior to the biopsy, Dr Edney gave me 3 injections of lidocaine, as a local pain killer, near the site of the biopsy. The lidocaine burned like fire. After the biopsy, I was not given any presriptions for pain killers. The pain after the biopsy lasted over 4 days. I left three mesages at Dr Edney's office the day after the biopsy, requesting a prescription for a pain killer. None of my phone messages were returned. I feel that Dr Edney and the staff of the Salisbury Office of Chesapeake Urology did not show care, concern or empathy for me as a patient. I will go to a different Urologist for future treatments.

Dr Edney saved my life. I had a kidney stone that had positioned itself so that my kidney could not function. I was very thankful to see that my Dr, Dr Edney, was the Dr on call at the hospital that day. He performed emergency surgery that day and was very compassionate and kind.

I was very impressed with Dr. Edney. He gave me plenty of time to tell him my symptoms and issues, and he really listened. He made the experience as good as it could possibly be. I would recommend him highly to anyone.

I was a patient of Dr. Edney and Peninsula Urology for approximately 5 years. I have a spinal cord disorder which has caused problems which require a competent urologist. I have seen many, many doctors, survived surgeries and years of physical therapy to be able to walk. But never have I felt less cared about than the doctors and staff at this office. Dr. Edney does not take the time to listen or explain the procedures they perform, some being very invasive. On multiple occasions I was sent
