Dr. Maria Perales, MD

Dr. Perales was a OBYN & (GYN) doctor, she was marvelous!! I do miss her. A physician that was very understandably helpful and very direct. Dr. Perales was a genuine friend as well as a great doctor. Thx you for making a huge difference with your profession. Enjoy your retirement.

I was a patient for several years with no issues. The waits were long but the service was good so it wasnt a big deal. Then she started telling me I had some health issues and specific procedures would need to be done at the next visit. The next visit would come and the procedure would change when I arrived at the appointment. After a year of this with no explanation of any actual issues, I finally decided to have testing completed elsewhere. And Im beyond glad that I did. I am in good health with less stress now that I am no longer her patient.

Three of our eight grandchildren were delivered by Dr. Perales. Our two daughters both thought the world of her! She has the necessary knowledge and skills as well as a wonderful sense of relationship-building with her patients. We will always love her!

Horrible,horrible. Appointment was set, had to wait 1.5 hrs to be seen. No communication. Provider has no nurse practitioner to assist with patients. Ladies find another obgyn.

She double books her appointments. The first time I had to wait 1.5 hrs. The second time I had to wait 2 hrs. She said I had a polyp in my cervix that had to be removed in the hospital. She said she couldn't tell how big it was. She also wanted to do a conization of the cervix even though my pap smear was normal and my biopsies of the polyp and the surrounding tissue were benign. I got a second opinion. He said the polyp was small and didn't need to be removed. He said he removes larger polyps in his office all the time.

Dr. Perales is one of the last doctors around that takes all the time she needs with you. She is not set to the 15 minute rule like most physicians are these days. Patients complaining of the wait need to think if she spends that much time with other patients she will with me. I went to see her for my yearly checkup in January and told her about my problems. Long story short she doesn't mess around. End result was a hysterectomy just recently. I was hurting in the hospital and she stayed with me until 11 pm to figure out the pain. Great doctor that prays with you before surgery.

Dr Maria Perales is very sweet. I was a patient but I did not feel my treatment was successful there. I felt that when I needed guidance for my medical issues I would be told "well what do you want to do" I just prefer a Medical Provider who is more direct. Other than that she is okay. Oh and her office has very intense long wait times.

Good doctor. Likes to laugh. The 2 hour wait has me wondering if I should switch to another doctor. Thank God I only have to come once a year.

Sat in the waiting room for an hour. Wasn’t called back and there were several people ahead of me. Staff wasn’t able to reschedule. Giant waste of time. Not efficient scheduling process.

Dr. Perales is not just a MD but humanity is her character. She cares about her patients and shows her compassion. She is has patiences, character, compassion and a great surgeon for I have worked with her as well. I would highly recommend her. She is an excellent physician/surgeon. I just moved back to my home town and she is the first physician I wanted to care for me.

She is very professional and very careful and kind, absolutely good listener. I was very comfortable when she was examine me. Me and my husband are really very happy that we found her and she is my doctor. I would recommend her to anyone who need a good Gynecologist.

I have had Dr. Perales as my physician for several years. She has a fantastic "bedside" manner. She's friendly, informative, knowledgeable, and cognizant to my problems. She takes the time to talk with me about my health or to that matter, subjects outside of health issues, and with each visit I learn more about her personally. I find her conscientious and when she recommends something that will keep me healthy, I feel secure and confident that she is genuinely concerned for me.

I love Dr. Perales. She is the best. She in my Opinion saved my life. I went to a specialist that overlooked a Lump in my Breast, I then went for my yearly Exam with Dr. Perales and she found it right away which was Breast Cancer. She has performed several Surgeries including my Hysterectomy. She is the best....I highly recommend her....

Dr. Maria is one of the best in her field, and she is the most caring & kind person in the world. Dr. Maria listens to you and takes the time to answer any & all questions. I have been going to her for over 4 years and love love her to death. :)

Always get a second opinion. I was told that I had multiple issues. I have been to three different providers and they have not seem to find any of the medical conditions Dr. Perales told me that I had. I was set to have a complete hysterectomy and that was 5 years ago. I am in perfect health.
