Love my new Lens
After taking my Mother to see Dr. Poulos for many a year, I now am a patient myself and pleased with my new lens from the Cataract surgery she recently preformed on both of my eyes. No more glasses, it has only been over 40 years with them so am super pleased with the results.....she is not only a good surgeon but also a really nice person. Thanks a bunch Dr. Poulos.

Worst doctor and staff ever! Totally misdiagnosed my eyes. Wrote an incorrect prescription for glasses and charged me $628 for glasses I could never wear. When brought to her attention, she said they were correct and if my eyes changed that much I needed cataract surgery immediately! Went to another eye doc for 2nd opinion. Eyeglass prescription was incorrect! Won’t need surgery for 1-2 more years! Glasses from 3 years ago work fairly well. Readers work well for closeup! RUN from this doctor. She only cares about making money!

During a lifetime of professional medical care you have the opportunity to meet many doctors along the journey. Most are good doctors but only a few stand out as special. Keen intellect, talented & skillful in their field, dedicated to medical service , good communicators, very caring and a unusual calmness mark only the rare and very best doctors. Dr Poulos is one of them. I highly recommend her.

Dr. Poulos was personable, professional, and gave me articulate pertinent information. She has a "great bedside manner" with matter of fact explanation of my upcoming procedure which included options and possible issues. Her staff were polite, professional and efficient. The utmost cautionary care is taken for cleanliness in the office for ones personal safety during the pandemic. The waiting room only allowed 3 people at a time .and chairs were assigned and wiped down with antibacterial cloths. One had to call in from outside in parking lot to be invited into their office reception waiting room for their appointed scheduled time. No long waiting ,five minutes at most. I felt comfortable in the process and feel optimistic about this over all experience to date.

I should have taken the already very bad reviews and rude receptionist over the phone as an omen to not go to this office. I had called my insurance provider and asked for assistance finding a doctor in Orlando, as I could not go to my preferred office back home. I was told to go here, as they took my vision insurance. I made a request for an appointment online, and gave the receptionist my info over the phone. Upon arriving, I finished any remaining paperwork and highly considered leaving on the spot after being met with the same rude attitude from the receptionist and seeing the dingy and outdated establishment. But I decided to stay and upon being brought back, The assistant who got me ready for the doctor was kind enough. I was told halfway through my time with the assistant that they could not find my policy information (convenient considering I booked this appointment over a week in advance and was informed as I’m already halfway through my service.) I am told by the assistan

Dr. Poulos and her staff carry a very high level of professionalism. They are trustworthy, caring, and very efficient. I had cataract surgery with Dr. Poulus and she and her staff took good care of me and basically all of her patients. I recommended her highly to my relatives, friends, and neighbors!

I was being treated for an infection in my eye. After several appointments, with no clearing I, decided to go to another ophthalmologist when my eye appeared to have a bleed beginning. I was diagnosed with chrysiobacterium indologenes, treated with antibiotic eye ointment and it healed. At a later date I accompanied a friend to Dr Poulos' office and when she asked me what cleared my eye she wanted the spelling of the diagnosis so she could research the infection that I had.

If u are anything like me before eye surgery, u are scared to death. The thought of getting your eye cut into, is to say the least, SPOOKY. Especially for a diabetic like me. But if your performing surgeon is Dr. Margaret Poulos, you have nothing to worry about. I must say that during my surgery, either her hands were guided by the angels from above, or she herself is an angel sent from above to do this kind of work. Thank you Dr. Poulos. I can now see better withot my glasses than with them.

She is just wonderful. Takes the time to talk with you, explains everything in detail. Four years ago when I was seeing cloudy she saw what my issue was and immediately had me see a Retina Specialist. If it had not been for her I might have lost the sight in my left eye. I always recommend her to everyone I know.
