I woke up with blurry vision on a Sunday. Monday the right lower field of vision was blacked out. Was able to get into Jamie's office same day and offered opportunity for surgery that night. The recovery was longer than expected but I followed all recommendations and eventually ended up with full vision recovery and 20/20 again. Like knowing a superhero with the power to restore sight. I know every patient's challenge is different but having consistency in your surgeon is a great starting point.

Visiting FL and developed what began as PVD. When I began having blurred vision I searched for a retina specialist. I called Dr. Membreno's office and was given an appt that afternoon, even after being told they don't take walk-in's or Emergency cases. I was diagnosed with a small retinal tear. The staff were very kind and knowledgeable. The receptionist called my Dr. office for a fax number to send the treatment report to. Dr. Membreno did a thorough eye exam and recommended a laser treatment. I'm so grateful, appreciative, and humbled for receiving prompt, professional, care and intervention!!! Thank you! Diana

Dr Membreno and his office staff are exceptional. I was at a conference in July 2022 in Disney, when I had an eye emergency. I called my eye doctor in New Jersey and they said I needed to see someone within a day or two and they described it as an eye floater. I called Dr Membreno’s office on a Wednesday morning when they opened and they were able to take me in by 11am. His office staff was incredibly professional and they took me in on time. The doctor is a retinal specialist, which it turns out, I really needed as I had torn my retina and could not see out of my left eye. His examination style is excellent. As he is doing tests he talks through what he is doing and why he is doing it. At the end of his exam, he spent time with me to explain the urgency and also explain the options. Brilliant Doctor who is excellent at his job. I was scared about getting eye treatments and eye injections but Dr Membreno was Amazing and it didn't hurt. Wouldn't go to another eye Doctor.

Dr. M is third generation. And exceptional. If you're willing to work with him and be receptive of what YOU have to do to aid in your recovery, they will work their hearts out for you. If you want to be a smart butt, and think you know all about everything, he will send you back to your PC... He has a very tight schedule with all that he does and they will bend over backwards to help you. But they just don't have time for foolish people. And I went to one other foolish person who really almost wrecked my eyes. And then I found Dr. Membrino. I owe my eyesight to him. And yes, I get injections on a regular basis. No big deal.

Dr Membreno said I had wet macular degeneration and said I needed injections indefinitely. After the second injection, the amount of floaters was not allowing me to be outside for any period of time, not even with the use of extremely dark sunglasses. When I went back to see him and expressed my concerns, he was rude and showed no interest. Instead, he proceeded to send my PC physician a note saying I was severely depressed. Depressed, no; angry at incompetence- YES

Dr. Membreno and his staff were kind enough to fit me into a busy schedule to evaluate a possible problem with my retina while I was on vacation in Florida. I feel very fortunate to have been able to get timely, excellent treatment for what turned out to be a torn retina. I have now had three follow up appointments back home in the Philadelphia area and the laser treatment I had in Florida seems to have resolved the problem with my eye. I have Diabetes , Dr Membreno helped me recover my vision and has been so caring for several years. The surgery and treatments have a life changing experience , many thanks to him and his staff.

This doctor is beyond words. He is very patient, caring and takes his time with you. He explains the procedure very thoroughly. The staff are very professional as well friendly, Just like another patient in their comments has mentioned, I wish most doctors are like him. I would recommend him in a heartbeat! Dr. Membreno is a great professional; the vocation comes before the profession in his life. He is attentive and has empathy for the patient. I recommend to all people his professional services. He has a great team in your clinic. The work done in your clinic is with excellence. I was very pleased with the urgency of care I received from Dr. Membreno when I had a retinal detachment. He was a blessing. First, I need to say that is very ease of scheduling urgent appointments. Second, the office is in a convenient location and his staff is so friendly and courteous. Last but not less important, I and my husband were impressed of the professionalism, dedication and the correct diagnostic that he did with my husband.
