Pill Pusher
Telehealth
I literally had COVID and she said, 'you'll be fine, just take a Südafed.' Kept prescribing very strong and unnecessary medications and wasn't able to see me when I had an urgent health concern. Tried to prescribe me an inhaler (I don't have any asthma whatsoever), a very strong topical steroid (my dermatologist's jaw dropped when I explained and said that was way to strong for what I needed) and a cocktail of other pills I didn't need. I refused to fill the prescriptions. Very disappointed.

A good Doctor, BUT
Dr. Mercer is good, no question that she’s knowledgeable. I was happy with her until I got really sick. I tried to make an appointment on a Monday and was told they have to wait till Thursday. That’s not good. Also, because I missed two appointments, one because I had pneumonia, and the other due to work scheduling a meeting, I was sent a nasty letter. The letter said that I may not miss any more appointments or I would be removed from the practice. These were not no-shows, I called to cancel them. To my surprise, I received another letter a week later. The letter indicated that I was removed from the practice due to noncompliance with no further explanation. Honestly, I’ve never been treated this poorly by a doctors office.Again, I think she’s good, I did not like how I was treated. I am happy to go.

Her parents did a good job raising her!!
I know that's not quite a Dr apt title but this iscall I can think of when I leave my visit. Knowledgeable, thorough, gentle, genteel, pointed, solution based. And she is a young woman to have all these qualities without being arrogantly careless like so many practices are increasing pt numbers, decreasing pt/dr interface to make up for lower insurance reimbursements. And she is not just detail oriented, dr IM also has great talent for the global picture. Book smart and common sense - rare Thank you to her parents and to you Dr ince mercer!

Great Doctor, Awful Patient Policy
Let me say two things - #1 - Dr. Ince-Mercer is a GREAT doctor. She is very accommodating, and I thoroughly enjoyed my 6 years as her patient. So this review has nothing to do with her abilities as a doctor. If you have her as a doctor, you are in great hands. #2 - I am very disappointed by the practice dismissing me as a patient due to two cancelled appointments, one of which was due to the fact that I had COVID and was physically unable to come in for my annual physical, and a no-show (due to me simply forgetting the appointment. I’m sorry. I’m human). Even though during the course of the year, I was in for other appointments for other medical issues. I called in due to a medical issue I was having and was told I’m no longer a patient with the firm. I wrote a message within the portal regarding this, and received a call a few days later to discuss the situation. I was simply told there was nothing that could be done and that they dismissed me as a patient. I received ZERO notifica
