Unprofessional
Telehealth
I had a video appointment with her. She was very unprofessional. She kept raising her voice and wouldn't let me ask questions. I am not sure if she is always like that or if I was unlucky enough to catch her in a bad moment. Regardless, she was very unprofessional. Every time, when I tried to ask a question, she stopped me by raising her voice, almost yelling. It was weird. So, I simply thanked her and ended the conversation. I chose another doctor and am happy that I left her practice. I wouldn't recommend her.

This is a review for Dr. Kieu-Loan Luc, DO. We had a virtual appointment. Our appointment was scheduled for one hour, but we were done in 15 minutes. This can be good or bad depending on your personal preference. I viewed it negatively since that time could be spent on building rapport and trust with your patient. Dr. Kieu-Loan Luc spent NO time asking about who I am as a person or my medical history. No bedside manner. I told her my psychologist suggested seeing my primary care doctor to discuss weight loss as my antidepressants have increased my appetite and lead to me gaining weight. She asked if I could stop taking those meds. I was flabbergasted - I was suicidal before taking these meds. Her next question was to find my BMI and issued a diabetes prescription within the first 10 minutes. I then tried to engage in a conversation about this prescription, its side effects and see how she came to the conclusion that this was the best medication for me. Every time I tried to talk, she kept RAISING her voice to talk over me or kept saying “can I talk now” over and over again. It felt like we were competing for talk time. Like lady, how are you supposed to know what is wrong and what I have done in the past to treat it if you cannot let me talk. Overall, I felt belittled and deflated after my appointment with Dr. Kieu-Loan Luc, DO. I will be looking for another doctor.

Dr. Luc is the most wonderful Dr. I have ever visited. She is extremely knowledgeable on almost every aspect of the medical industry. She gives the best advice of any Dr. I have ever met. She is very patient, and listens to all of your comments with concern. I would recommend Dr. Luc to anyone above any Dr. I have ever visited. She makes you very comfortable at your Dr. appointments and is very kind! She is extremely educated in the medical industry, and the most trustworthy Dr. I have visited.
