Dr. Keith Sheffer, MD

Dr. Sheffer is simply the best: his kindness, his incredible knowledge and his ability to make things understandable, and the time he takes to listen are top notch. I went in with so many questions, and left knowing all my concerns were heard and answered. He was so gentle with my broken foot, too! Dr. Sheffer, Parker, the front office team and the X-ray and boot fitting folks were all great! I highly recommend JoCo Orthopedics, and Dr. Sheffer in particular.

I can’t say enough about Dr. Sheffer. He’s professional, kind, great sense of humor, great listener, and very knowledgeable. I wish more physicians had his great bedside manner. He’s the best.

As a nurse, I think that many of us have high expectations for our health care providers. I needed to find an ortho group nearer our home. I appreciated Dr. Sheffer's gracious demeanor and how well he explained conservative care for my fracture. It was humbling to learn there were some things I needed to learn to live in a cam boot. I am impressed with his skills, trust his recommendations and hope I am nearly as sharp as I approach being older. Thank you!

Wait time 5 minutes!! Friendly and caring staff. Dr. Sheffer showed the xrays on the screen and explained exactly why I'm having so much elbow pain. Very informative and knowledgeable. Recommended a specific course of action and needed treatment. Would definitely recommend him to others!!

I feel I should have been given a prescription to fight the achilles tendinitis. I would appreciate the if the doctor would call in a prescription at Walgreens to get rid of the inflammation.Thank you

Dr Sheffer is a friendly person with a great personality !!!! He explained my x-rays to me and explained my condition in such a thorough manner that I didn’t have any questions to ask him . What a great doctor !!!! I’m impressed with the doctors that I have seen so far at Olathe Medical Center !!!

I’m a patient of Dr. Keith Sheffer and he treated my knees years ago. Today, I went in to see him for my feet. God bless this doctor, he gave me hope and great advices for my feet. I went to see him with so much pain. After, his consultation and recommendation, he prescribed the devices for my problems. I went home with less pain and happy walking out to my car. Thank you Dr. Shaffer and his awesome staff.

Dr. Shaffer was overall very professional but pleasant to discuss my problem. He was thorough I his explanation and ended by asking me if I had any questions for him. I was completely satisfied with my visit.

Aside from having no compassion for his clients. He's brief blunt and uninformative with visits that leave you in the room for excess of an hour and interactions feeling like he's ready to leave the room ASAP. And he does. His all gold suits glasses and shoes and should have been the first warning sign. There were a few major factors that as a former orthopedic surgeon should have never been ignored that were completely ignored. My personal major one is I have been clear and descriptive since 3/4/21 about a limited mobility of my leg. At which point 0 information was provided to inform me that I would never be qualified for surgery of my ACL due to my limited mobility. Calling for an urgent need for intensive month long of physical therapy before I could be put on a waiting list for surgery. Delayed me being put on a waiting list for therapy over a month. Add that to the fact that he no longer operates and did nothing but read my MRI results and leave me hanging. 0 further anything.
