No follow up from doctor, told I was rude
This office has been so painful and stressful to deal with. I’ve been treated like a nuisance. The doctor spent the majority of his time with me recollecting my history and checking his texts (and snapped at me once). I appreciated the 5 minutes of education he gave me. Follow up after my scan was a mailed letter (with the wrong report attached). Nothing in the online portal. When I followed up on the phone, I was read from the report by the admin. When I asked to have the doctor call me back, I was told that I was being rude (2X). An email follow up included “Here is your report: What don’t you understand????” No response after 3 requests to have the doctor or nurse follow up. Starting over with a different doctor in a few weeks. If they are just basically civil, I’ll consider it a good decision to switch.

Patients aren’t important here
Dr Newman seems to know his stuff but him and his office dont seem to really care about his patients. I have had him answer a text in the middle of my visit. On a regular basis, it takes days almost a week for responses to online portal messages. He and his staff are quick to want you to come back in the office because he doesn’t recall previous discussions or doesn’t look at his note history, if he has it, to remember the discussions when you were last in. He and his staff dont seem to be in a hurry to get back to you.

KBD
Apparently, this Dr. doesn't read reviews from his "former" patients. I dropped him the last time I saw him. His arrogance is astounding. By the time he got around to getting back with me I had already found another Dr. This guy has you wait for over two hours and when you complain makes you feel like it is a privilege to even be seen by him. His time is valuable, yours is not. Once again GOODBYE.

I am a patient of Dr. Newman for over six years. I could not be more please with his help. Not only is he knowledgeable in his field, urology, but he is also very careful to fully explain to me his findings and offer very cogent reasons for the treatment he recommends. He cares about me and my health. In addition, he has an outstanding staff, especially his nurse, Teresa.

I've been using Dr. Newman for a while now and have always found him and the staff to be knowledgeable, patient, and informative. After the medications I had been on quit working on me, Dr. Newman suggested surgery to correct my condition. The surgery was flawless and there were no surprises along the way because Dr. Newman had informed me, ahead of time, what to expect in the healing process.

Dr. Newman has been my Urologist for the past 5 years. He has always been very professional, caring and gets to know his patients. In times of Emergencies Dr. Newman's experience and dedication proved priceless. The week of April 6, 2020 I was in severe pain from a large kidney stone. I called Dr. Newman's office that night and he saw me first thing in the morning. With COVID-19 hospitals were only dealing with emergencies. DR. Newman, knowing I was in pain, was able to schedule and perform surgery to blast and remove the large kidney stone that week. The whole hospital experience and surgery was outstanding. Dr. Newman took the time to explain the procedure, what to expect after, and explained and gave written directions to follow after surgery. Follow up visits were handled on time, efficient, and professionally. Even the removal of the stent, which I was really dreading, was performed quickly and effectively with very little pain. Dr. Newman is experienced and I highly recommend.
