Most caring&compassionate dr.; treats whole person
Dr. Patterson came highly recommended by several friends and after seeing her for 5 years, I can see why. When I initially went to her, she listened to my concerns about something I was diagnosed with and did not say that 2 of the other physicians I had seen about this were 'bad doctors'. She thought the diagnosis was fair and the treatment was fine for the condition. She always takes her time with me, asks me many questions and listens to my answers. Her staff is very organized and prompt to call back if a message has to be left and will contact you immediately after tests are run. I will see no other doctor, while I am healthy. And when the time might come to seek out a specialist, I feel confident in her wisdom to refer me to the right specialist.

I really like Dr. Patterson. She is open minded to listening to my ideas and suggestions and guides me down the right path. Some doctors I have been to are closed minded and its their way or no way, and unable to have a conversation. I feel comfortable with Dr. Patterson and know that she has my best interests at heart. Also like that she is a functional medicine doctor with alternative ideas. If she does not know an answer she will research and get back to you. Also her office staff is very professional and mature, not young giggly girls. She is able to keep her staff and her wait time is very acceptable . Thanks Dr. Karen. Keep doing your best. Five Stars for you.

Dr Patterson did what many other doctors failed to do and helped me find a solution to years of hormone issues. Would recommend.

I've been a patient of Dr. Patterson when she first came to Winfield. From our first visit she made me feel comfortable and listened to my questions/concerns. Though she's my FP, some health issues required specialists. She took her own time to find the right doctor for my condition and followed through. Dr. Patterson is truly a kind, caring, physician who shows empathy and concern for her patients. Her office staff is also very friendly and work well together. One of my best choices!

I have gone to several of the best doctors in NWIndiana to figure out what was going on with my health and in a 20 minute appointment she had debunked my diagnosis, ordered appropriate tests for my symptoms (which were spot on) and made me feel heard. She did not try to put me on anti-depressants (which is standard procedure now for women over 40, and she has me on a path toward wellness. Thank you Dr. Patterson!

Dr. Patterson listens to her patients concerns, addresses them and works through a solution. She has my husband on custom dosed thyroid meds and enabled him to have energy again and be able to function. His former doctor used synthroid and when it didn't work for him, that was just the end of it. She has found my issues and given me energy back that I've not had in at least 10 years.
