Dr. Brett Brechner, DO

Dr. Brechner takes time to listen to his patients we never feel like our time is up. His diagnosis is usually spot on. We feel that our health is much improved since we joined his practice. We also love his staff!

I've been seeing Dr B. For around 20ish years. He has helped my husband (who hates drs) and I both with little things and major lifetime chronic health issues. He has the biggest heart and genuinely cares about his patients. He takes the time to get to know his patients not just write a script and walk out the door. We consider him more a friend than just our doctor.

There aren’t enough characters in this box to throughly explain how I feel. I could write a novel about the care I’ve received and continue to receive from Dr. Brechner. I have seen him since I was about 12-13 years old. He’s been there for every scrape, cut, urgent & non-urgent visits, hospitalizations, he’s always physically shown up.. All of my random questions I have, he patiently, side by side, answers in detail, and teaches me. Dr. Brechner has such a huge impact on my life, he’s the only person I truthfully trust with my health. I remember being scared when I was around 16-17 years old and Dr. Brechner kneeled down by my bedside & explained what anxiety is & how we can work together & everything’s going to be alright, that he’ll always take care of me. Something I’ll always remember. Or when he sat with me with my first Addisonian Crisis. Anytime he walks in the door I know everything’s okay, or it will be. I can’t thank him enough.. he truthfully is amazing! & Dr. Jacobus too!

Dr Brechner will listen to my concerns and give advice as to what should be done.

My entire family has been lucky enough to have Dr, Brechner as our family doctor. He is a great Doctor and person. He listens to all of your questions, takes the time needed to explain what the problem is and how to best treat the problem. My kids even love Dr, Brechner and have never had a problem going to see him. We have been patients of Dr. Brechner almost since the time he started his practice. Thank you Dr. Brechner.

We absolutely love Winfield Family Medical! The bedside manner is like no other we've had. When we found Dr. Brechner our hopes were pretty low on medical care and Dr. Brechner changed all that! His nurse practitioners go over and beyond. These people truly care. They have reasonable hours. Although closed for a lunch break and weekends may be a slight inconvenience to some,it only shows how much Dr. cares about his staff as well. Dr. will even stay some nights till 7pm to see his patients too.

Good doctor, but the office wait times have been over 45 minutes the last couple of times. The fact that you can read the names of other patients on the sign in sheet as well as the fact that you can hear other patients through the walls seems like a HIPPA violation. I am frustrated that they don't take appointments 12:30-1:30 when most people need to. They really can't have one person answer phones the way other offices do?
