I chose Dr. Andino for my mother's care due to his location and spanish speaking which made for a more comfortable experience for my mom. the staff was very friendly with mom and myself, mom has dementia and at I saw how the staff was able to adjust to her level when giving direction so she could follow what they needed, Dr. Andino did not sugar coat mom's condition which I was extremely grateful for he presented her impairments to her in her language and in a factual yet respectful manner.

Dr. Andino saw my husband after having a couple TIA. He was very attentive to my husband. He explained everything very well. The first receptionist we dealt with was very non professional. The second young receptionist was lovely. She was efficient and set up several appointments for some neuro testing. The only complaint I have was that the appointments were not until July when the doctor stated they would set up the test and we should f/u in two weeks. His appointments were for 7/12, 7/15, and 727 and FU was 7/29. I left vim for the administrator 2 times to discuss the delay but no c/b. I did get c/ b from receptionist changing 1 to 6/15/2021.

My visit with Dr. Andino went remarkably well. His office staff was courteous and my wait was very timely. I appreciated Dr. Andino listening to me tell "my story" and then gave me his medical opinion. He thoroughly explained my condition and made me feel very hopeful. He spent the necessary time with me and didn't rush the visit. I also appreciate the fact that he didn't feel the need to run unnecessary tests on me. I would return to him again for any other neurologic problems. He was very kind!

Dr. Andino and his staff are very professional and know neurology. What he has to say can sometimes be difficult for the patient to hear, but he has been very kind and caring in his approach with my dad. I would highly recommend him.

A word of caution. BE AWARE....... this Dr. appears to be prone to periods of irrational anger. He entered my husband’s appointment like a tornado. He was confrontational, aggressive and insensitive. While his treatment of my husband was unacceptable and will not be tolerated, it was his treatment of another patient that was most concerning. This person was a current patient of the Dr. and in obvious excruciating pain. While the staff was standoffish with her and had no sympathy, it was the response of the Dr. that surprised me most. He refused to see her. (will he do the same to my husband, or you when you are at your most vulnerable?) This took place in the lobby. It seems that patient privacy and dignity are low on the priority list. My husband will not be using the services of this person. Again, go into your appointment knowing what could happen, or save yourself the unnecessary headache and use someone better

Office staff was disorganized and had to ask the doctor how to print the lab orders. We had to wait while they finished a print job, intake packets! The doctor did not have test results and sent me across the street to pick them up. Then he barely looked at the EMG and said the referring doctor was wrong. After performing a few tests in the office he suggested ALS. Of course we left there in shock. After we had time to recover, we knew we needed another doctor’s opinion.

Dr. Andino is a fantastic physician!! I went to see him at his office in Rowlett after I started having seizures. He always explained everything in layman terms (even though I am a RN) and always took extra time just to talk with me as a person trying to get to know the real you! I am not fortunate enough to see him anymore but I do recommend him to my pts. when they do not have a Neurologist and need one when they get discharged from my facility. He is AWESOME!

Office closes randomly. Answering machine puts you on hold “waiting for next available agent”, which never happens. Frightening if you are in trouble and cannot contact your doctor or even an On Call backup or answering service. When I was lucky enough to get my call answered, the doctor did not return call for 2 days and then it was office staff relaying message and couldn’t answer my questions. Entire office staff very unprofessional. Too frustrating!

What a joke...his office staff is unprofessional and unorganized. The doctor himself has this arrogance about him that is borderline offensive. I have seen MANY doctors in my life and he essentially blew me off. I have a chronic condition and have seen my neurologist for a very long time. She was unavailable due to being out on leave herself, so I made a decision to try and new physician...terrible idea. I will NEVER return to his office.
