Dr. Fares
Not only would I recommend Dr. Fares, I have on several occasions. I have complete trust in his knowledge or I wouldn’t continue to be a patient of his for about 25 years. Highly recommend him!

Worst experience ever
I was struggling with acid reflex, Gerd, esophagitis, etc. for months it took me three months to get into Dr. Farres. he ordered a colonoscopy and an endoscopy. Nobody from the office called me and told me the right directions for both procedures. They both contradicted themselves when I got to the facility they were upset with me for drinking water, the anesthesiologist Doctor was rude and treated me like I was just another patient, I’m still in pain till this day and after the procedure all that was said is I had Hital hernia gastritis and that’s all I heard, the biopsy came back and a PA called me back to tell me the results the doctor didn’t even take five minutes out of his day to tell me what he thinks the next step should be or really what he saw and explained my procedure over to me again considering I was out of it, This procedure cost me $1800. I would’ve liked to have heard from the doctor after my results came back and my procedure instead of his assistant.

Dr. Fares is kind , however I am unable to give more stars because I anything positive about his office staff, the phone lady Julie is aggressively condescending and the rest of the staff are IMMENSELY INCOMPETENT! I have been trying to deal with my aunt's plan of care for MONTHS! I had to speak with the Dr. directly after many failed attempts with the staff, and after deciding I had given them more than enough time and been more than patient! It unfortunately says something negative about the staff if after speaking with the Dr. for only 3 minutes the issue was resolved. I do not ever leave reviews but I was compelled to in this case. A medical providers office only exists to give care to ones medical needs and to improve quality of life. This staff needs a daily reminder of that! DO BETTER !

A Dr. Who Won’t Give Up on You
I was so afraid to have my first colonoscopy and would joke with family and friends that if God wants to take me out of this world due to an “anal disease” then so be it. But, all joking aside I had to do one due to a test showing I needed it. I have suffered from IBS-D my entire life. Dr. Fares was so calming and put me at ease before and after the test, no small feat. He then told me we can definitely find something to help you through this disease and he did. We changed meds quite a few times until something clicked. No dr. in NY or AZ could accomplish that for me and I got to the point that I had given up even trying. Dr. Fares thank you SO MUCH for helping me and not letting me quit.

During my 3rd hospital admit an associate of Dr Fares promised that the Dr would help me in my post release F/U appt. He did not. None of my Drs are. Symptoms I have suffered decades with no help finally manifest in a condition that provides direction to a very serious problem & all want to pretend it was a fluke & not treat. WHY?

Highly skilled, great experience on two procedures about which I was very uneasy. I was extremely impressed with the great Dr. Fares, who went above and beyond, his kind and courteous staff, even the anesthesia doctor, who was so good, I woke up with zero stomach pain and nausea, which I have had in the past.
