Exceptional Doctor with Mayo Clinic - Phoenix
Dr. Chasca not only has an exceptional bedside manner, he truly has a curiosity that I believe sets him apart from most physicians. He genuinely listens and is so engaged in making the appointment a conversation that you never feel like he is just checking through a list. What I appreciated most from my initial visit with him years ago was his explanation of the future of NAFLD-NASH treatment, because it gave me hope (and he was right about potential new drugs way back then!). I also very much appreciated his offer to refer me to a Mayo Clinic nutritionist once I mentioned that I was becoming fearful of food because my disease was progressing so alarmingly. Very thankful for Dr. Chasca and the Phoenix Mayo Clinic team.

Dr. Chascsa Saved my Life!
Dr. Chascsa has a very patient and kind bedside manner. He facilitated my transplant program at Mayo Transplant. Clinic. Another hospital gave me a prognosis of 30-60 to live, as I had a failed liver and kidney. One I saw Dr. Chascsa, he recommended me for the Mayo program and I had dual transplant surgeries last April. I am recovering nicely and feeling great! Without his intervention I would not be here today.
