Got to the bottom of the problem and resolved it. Office staff needs more guidance and could be more helpful.

My visit with Dr Wainright and his staff was calming and reassuring for me and my son. Everything explained to me and going forward what I can realistically expect for recovery. PT and OT prescribed. Dr W. Saved my life. I’m forever grateful.

Excellent neurosurgeon- thorough, compassionate and skilled

From the first time I meant Dr. Wainwtight and through to the last visit he made me and my family feel comfortable. He was honest truthful, he underpromised but overacheived. He and his staff were kind, never rushed through any explanations, took an interest in my well being. They are all great commuicators and did amazing work. I had a herniated disc in my neck and was in Extreme pain when I got to the hospital, and as quick as possible they tried to make me as comfortable as they possibly could. That week I was there they had many serious surgeries to perform many worse than mine but everyday they visited me in my room and updated me and made sure I was comfortable until I had the surgery. After the surgery the pain was GONE. Just like that. They did an awesome job! They took their time and were very thourough. I would never go anywhere else if I needed any nuerosurgery.

My visit was on time & Dr. Wainwright’s staff were efficient & friendly. Also, Dr. Wainwright treated me with respect & took the time to explain everything regarding my surgery . He answered all my questions before my surgery & now after the surgery. My visit was excellent. 5 stars for all!

All of my visits with Dr. Wainwright, from pre-surgery, surgery, daily visits while recuperating and follow up appointments have been outstanding. His skillset, his concern for my care should be textbook examples of how medical care should work.His PA Teams were a tremendous help during my office visits and during my 8 day stay at WMC post surgery as well. The Surgical Team PA's played a vital role during my stay working to get me back on my feet. They made sure I knew I could reach out to them at any time. Words are inadequate to convey how pleased I am with Dr. Wainwright and his team.

Do not waste your time seeing this physician. I came in for a second medical opinion with imaging that was clearly remarked. I also presented with severe pain symptoms and neurological abnormalities. I was told 'this image does not show anything and I don't see anything wrong with you.' After waiting 3 hours because my appointment was cancelled without my notification, I left completely disparaged. If you want to be patronized or chastised about your health, go here.

Dr. Wainwright is extremely knowledgeable and understanding. He takes the time to explain my issue and and answered all of my questions.

Wonderful experience with Dr. Wainwright. Dr. Wainwright is a wonderful surgeon, and has the best staff/team working alongside of him. During my care, Dr. Wainwright was always helpful and kind. He explained my diagnosis and treatment in great detailed. Dr. Wainwright and his team were always on the same page; very well informed about my condition and next steps which put me at ease. He ensured I had a smooth prep, surgery, and follow-up. I am so glad I chose WMC and would highly recommend this facility and Dr. Wainwright to anyone.

I was suffering from a bad case of sciatica for almost 9 months. After physical therapy and several different procedures that didn’t work for me, I was ready for surgery. Dr. Wainwright and his staff performed the discectomy with hardly any time needed for recovery. Everyone was very professional and courteous. The recovery nurse was unbelievably attentive to my every need. At home, the day after surgery, I was able to move, sit, and walk etc. without any discomfort. I took no pain management medication as there was absolutely no pain. The next day I was back to work. Because the technique employed by Dr. Wainwright was minimally invasive, there is nothing more than a tiny scar on my lower back. I would recommend Dr. Wainwright and his staff to anyone needing back surgery of any kind. On a side note, his staff made sure everything would be covered by my insurance company.

I have been suffering from horrible back pains for years and no other doctor was able to figure out what was wrong with me! Dr. Wainwright diagnosed me with SI joint point and after an SI fusion I am now pain free for the first time in years! Dr. Wainwright gave me my life back!
