Forever grateful for Dr. Ramakrishna. He’s an amazing surgeon, he cured my son from Cushing’s disease . When I went to Dr. Ramakrishna office for a second opinion, I knew right away that he would be the one to cure my son , he was very confident and reassuring that he will be able to remove the tumor in the pituitary gland. Dr.Ramakrishna’s amazing experience made my son’s surgery a complete success and his recovery was quick and easy . Would highly recommend Dr. Ramakrishna for any pituitary surgery.

My appointment with Dr Ramakrishna was prior to radiation, as my neurosurgeon is not licensed for the specific radiation I needed. He came in smiling and was very upbeat. He told me he was already reviewing my MRI with the radiation oncologist, which made me glad he was ahead of my condition and treatment. He made me feel at ease.

He clearly understood the issues with health and step by step completed procedures and suggested complete recovery process!

When I was diagnosed with a meningioma inside the cranium in 2020, he was reassuring and most definitely comforting with an exact analysis of the situation. I consider him an outstanding surgeon with all the monitoring that this tumor requires. His post operative conferences in 2021 and 2022 have been clear and informative, all done with his gentle sense of humor. I am most pleased that our life paths have crossed.

Our first few meetings were virtual due to Covid and my geographical distance; Dr Ramakrishna first recommended a wait/watch approach ~ which I appreciated, knowing I needed some time to prepare mentally and physically for one of the wildest rides of my life. A trust was established, making me feel I would be in the best of hands. When he arrived immediately post surgery with a big smile, to announce he was able to save one of my olfactory nerves and able to remove the entire tumor, I felt such elation. What more can I say than I love him, I appreciate his judgment, level of expertise, his patience with all my questions. His entire team was excellent.

On my 4 year follow up after a resection of a 5 cm meningioma and watch and wait in additional smaller m’s Dr R and his team were top notch

Brain surgery is frightening, especially during the COVID lockdown. If you are in NY, you will be in the best hands with Dr. Ramakrishna and his team.
