I never saw her. Had previous knee replacement 22 years ago. That surgeon has since retired. When I called for appointment I was told that since another doctor did the surgery I would have to pay 500.00 dollars up front. This on top of my excellent insurance. I was just flabbergasted and needless to say I found another orthopedic specialist. Very disappointed that a physician who took the Hippocratic Oath would try and gouge a patient.

She did my first knee several years ago, which was great. Two weeks ago she did my right knee, very same results She is very positive will answer your questions . She is great

By far the very BEST orthopedic I've EVER had!!
Dr. Swaringen is the absolute very best orthopedic! Her bed side manner, her gentle personality and concern she has towards her patients is remarkable. Dr. Swaringen is not a doctor that will immediately turn towards surgery without exploring all aspects first.

Knee replacement
Went to her because I was having extreme knee pain and was having trouble walking. She did and X-ray, said I had arthritis and to take ibuprofen and wear better shoes. Totally brushed me off. A couple days later my knee completely went out and I had to get a knee replacement. Bone on bone. She wouldn’t do an mri and barely spent minutes with me. Went to another surgeon and had great care.

I was disgusted by the complete lack of care. She told me, "I don't have a magic wand." I had to go back to my regular doctor for aknee brace and had to go see a different doctor that put forth minimal effort.

Dr Swaringen is a caring professional, and is extremely good at her job. She surgically repaired my ankle fracture and I couldn't have asked for a better surgeon. From my first visit to my last, over the course of the last five months, she and her team have been truly outstanding!!!

After suffering a triceps tendon rupture, I was hesitant about surgery. After much research and several professional opinions I scheduled an appointment with Dr. Jennifer Swaringen. She and her staff were so professional and compassionate. My surgery went extremely well and I am on the road to recovery. Thank you Dr. Swaringen!!

I went to Dr. Swaringen for an acute shoulder injury she spent about eight minutes with me looked at my x-ray and told me nothing could be seen on the x-ray. She said that I probably had tendinitis and bursitis and needed a Cortizone shot and physical therapy. I had to ask her for an MRI. She told me that she would call me back with the results after the MRI.. I never heard from her again. I have a rotator cuff tear shoulder impingement a bone cyst and bursitis which was diagnosed by another MD

I have had two surgeries from Dr. Swaringen. She is the best!! She asks the right questions to get the right answers to solve the problem!!! What more could you ask for. O Yes and she does it with personality and she cares. I will go to nor recommend no other orthopedic doctor.

She might be a good surgeon, but that's where it ends. The office staff is totally inept and under trained. Good luck getting a call back. She won't prescribe an adaquate amount of pain medication for the amount of pain you will be in after having surgery. After care is basically non existent and she doesn't seem to care. If you want good follow up care, go somewhere else.

Went to her for Visco supplementation shots in my knees. There was no follow-up to my phone calls concerning pain and scheduling future shots. I spoke to her surgery coordinator, Dee Ann about the problems. She said she would discuss it with the doctor and get back to me which she never ever did. Since I wasn't having surgery of any kind I figured they weren't interested in responding to me.

I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Swaringen! Her bedside manner is the best I have EVER seen! She listens and is very thorough. I walked into Dr. Swaringen's office, told her about the pain which was disabling and that other doctors were not able to fix the problem. She said it looks like a labral tear. She scheduled surgery, outpatient, I was in and out with the pain gone. She did take a CT Scan to verify her call but she is great.

I have had several conditions treated by Dr. Swaringen. I broke my ankle in two places 8/2011 Her care was excellent, compassionate, attentive and on target. She took the time to answer all of my questions. Despite the severity of the breaks, with her care, my ankle healed w/o surgery. In 2/2013, I broke my wrist. Again, I received excellent, compassionate care and my wrist healed w/o surgery. I developed carpal tunnel syndrome and had surgery 6/15, I am 100% better thanks to Dr. Swaringen!

Went to dr. Swaringen twice. Brought X-rays. She wanted me to take more X-ray in her office,and sent me for Mri . After second visit she said I had a tear and bulging disk that was causing my pain. Sent me for physical therapy. She makes you feel very rushed and she doesn't seem like a compassionate dr. As for her diagnosis, the physical therapist and the second opinion I received from another orthopedic surgeon was totally inconsistent with her evaluation. I am now treated for hip problems.
