Dr. Marchessault Did great work on my artery
I Think you couldn't get better care from anyone else. The best part about him is he wants to help and not enable you. I almost died about a year ago I accidently cut my artery damaged tendons and nerves. I have been lifting weights for 12 years it was devastating for me with this injury he gives you compassion when you need it and tough love when you need to be stronger. I thank him every day because I'm alive best part not only am I making leaps and bounds in the end there is a silver lining, I'm still able to work out and fully functional.

Great overall experience
Dr. Marchessault is the best! Right from the start he and his team have been friendly and professional and treated me with respect. I had absolutely no pain with either of the two severe carpal tunnel surgeries he performed with positive results on both. I had the same surgery on both hands years ago and those were not very good experiences therefore I was apprehensive about this time around, but after the first surgery this time, I couldn't wait for the next one. Im very pleased with the overall experience and would recommend him to anyone. Thanks Dr Marchessault!

I have no problems with Jeffery. He does fine work and his assistants are also terrific. However, after spending an hour driving through pouring rain (12/29/2021), and spending time in the reception line, I was informed: "We no longer accept your insurance provider and if you want to use your VA 100% insurance we would need prior approval." It's the VA. That could take as much as a year. I was not supplied with a list of providers you DO accept. Say hello to another long drive home and this comment. I am willing to change insurance providers, as the VA is horrible, but I need a list of the providers you accept. It looks like another year before I can get the pinky finger on my right hand taken care of. It is at 90% right now. I suppose it will be permanently folded over in a year. I called to ask for the list but was immediately sent to voice mail. I left a message with my phone number and email. I need that list. This does not seem like a big challenge, to me. Jeffrey gets 5 stars.

I can not sing the praises of Dr. Marchessault enough. I was referred to him by another orthopedic doctor after I had complications from a CMC arthoplasty surgery 10 months prior. Dr. Marchessault discussed in detail what he thought the chances of resolving my issue, full explanation of what the surgery would be and what the recovery would look like. He did not rush the appointment and took the time to answer all my questions. The day of the surgery, he came and spent a lot of time going back over what the plan was and answered all questions my family had. The same can be said for all my post op office visit. Dr. Marchessault was able to fix my issue and for the first time in a year, I’m basically pain free and have a lot more use of my hand. He took the time to understand my issue and not just say I can’t help. I’m very pleased with him, his nurse and the entire staff. I highly recommend him and will sing his praises to anyone who will listen!

Been almost a year now and arm hand are still numb and in pain. Did not act like he believed me when I said that it was still numb and hurt. I’m retired, I have nothing to gain by lying, I hate surgerys never even had a single surgery in my life until I was 55. He was very condescending. I don’t give reviews let alone bad ones but I regret this surgery at least my elbow wasn’t sore before and now its like I have hit my funny bone or ulna nerve or whatever you want to call it all the time 24/7. I’m retired, I want to enjoy life, I take great pride in being kind to people and have been told I am too nice. My pinky and ring finger and thick part of my hand stay cold now. This is so frustrating. You can’t feel someones hand and say “it feels good, I’m gonna turn you loose”. Very disappointed. All these credentials don’t mean anything if you treat someone like they are stupid. Maybe my hands can’t be fixed but don’t treat people like they’re stupid. Thats just ugly. Never going back.

i visited Dr. Marchessault 3 months ago to treat an injury involving a broken radius bone which connects to the hand. surgery was performed repairing with plate and screws... throughout the 3 month process of rehab, etc. i felt totally confident that i had chosen the best hand surgeon. Associated orthopaedics and Dr. Marchessault are wonderful. You will be happy with them.

My experience with Dr. Marchessault was nothing less than excellent. I'm 67 years old and I had a bad fall and my wrist was broken and fractured. I now have a titanium plate and my wrist is all put back together. Not only is he a great surgeon, but he is kind and reassuring. He actually cares about his patients. And for me personally, going in to surgery with the confidence he gave me mattered. I would highly recommend him all day every day. Thank you Dr. Marchessault for all you do. Kathryn S.

Dr. Marchessault is an amazing, caring, understanding surgeon. I have rheumatoid arthritis and had previously had surgery on my right hand 7 years ago with another surgeon. The surgery this time, however, was a great success. The recovery was much easier and quicker with very little physical therapy. And very little pain. I am now able to make a fist and straighten my fingers. To say I am happy with the results is an understatement! I can never thank Dr. Marchessault enough. I would highly recommend him. He is the best!!!

Three surgeries later and I am returning to my job as a Police Officer. I was told by another doctor that my career was done. Dr. Marchessault is great! He takes time with you to give you the best care that he can. If I had given up after the first doctor I would have lost my career. Dr. Marchessault, you truly were sent by God to help me, mentally and physically.

I have been through three scalfoid surgeries since then both on my left and right one on my right and two on my left. Dr. Marchessault has been with me supporting me, helping me, and has been with me making sure i’m healing to my best. 10/10 best doctor i’ve ever had, not just that but an amazing man. I had LRTI in February of this past year. I was relieved to learn during my first visit with Dr. Marchessault that he was familiar with CRPS and the effects surgery can have on it. He recommended a nerve block before surgery and collaborated with my physician to assure this would take place. I did require a second block a few weeks after surgery but with it and PT, the outcome of my surgery was a success. Thank you Dr. Marchessault for your compassion and excellent surgical skills!

I would definitely recommend Dr. Marchessault, he was able to provide me with a definitive diagnosis after I was referred to him by a previous provider. He is absolutely professional and explained my diagnosis in every detail. Following my surgical procedure, I was educated about the length of my recovery and what to expect during the recovery period. I was also very impressed with the professionalism of the nurses and office staff. Thank you Dr. Marchessault!

I have seen him twice for carpal tunnel and fractured wrist. With the feacture, I wore a cast for several weeks and it healed. With the carpal tunnel, he ask if he could give me a shot first to see if that helped, and if not I could come back for surgery. He gave me a shot in the wrist and it has never bothered me again! I think he’s a very good Surgeon and have heard very good things about him!

About Me

care philosophy

The hand has once been quoted as, ``the creator of human civilization``. It is an amazing part of our body I have passionately studied and learned to treat. I want future patients to know I will take time to get to know their problem, listen to their expectations and work toward a plan to reach those expectations.
