Nice person
I came in because I am having multiple issues with my hands due to arthritis of various types. It is impacting my ability to work and live but he said (no reason give) that I am not a candidate for surgery. I was told otherwise years ago, but wanted to wait until I couldn’t deal with the pain anymore. Listen to your patients and consider that our livelihoods depend on being able to function.

Great bedside manner but variable results
Dr. Lechner is a competent and caring surgeon who did 2 procedures for me: removing a thumbnail and trigger finger release. From the beginning I was impressed with his bedside manner, showing care and concern for my issues. The surgeries went smoothly in a very efficient surgery center. There was good follow-up, but both surgeries resulted in some lingering numbness or pain that seems hard to solve. Maybe because I'm 75. But generally I was quite satisfied.
