Over the past 2 years, I have seen Dr. Napoli for Trigger Thumbs. In previous, initial office visits, a conservative approach was advised via injections. While injections did provide considerable relief for extended periods of time, I was advised that in the future, surgery might be indicated. My repeat office visit today was due to return of pain and limited function with my right (dominant) thumb. Dr. Napoli performed a gentle examination and thoroughly explained options available to me: do nothing or surgery. I am electing to have surgery to restore full function of my right thumb. At no time did I feel pressure to have surgery. I have researched the procedure and feel comfortable with the surgery and Dr. Napoli’s patient and complete examination and explanation of surgical procedure.

This is the second time I have seen Dr. Napoli for my arthritic wrists. He is very patient, answers all questions and gave me the most painless cortisone injections I have ever experienced - and I've had a lot. We discussed surgery, which is the next step for my condition, and that was well-explained also. I would not hesitate to recommend him.

following an horrific night before @ the ER, I was able to get in to see Dr Napoli, an upper extremity specialist for an elbow injury. He was thorough in his exam and sent me off with a plan and a follow-up visit. Very appreciative of his care.

Had shots in both thumbs and will have surgery in the Fall on my left thumb and then the other one a little later on. I think you will like this particular Dr!

The way in which Dr Napoli treats you and how he addresses your concerns is par none. He takes the time to fully address the situation and I have put my faith in him in the past with two other hand surgeries. He is very knowledgeable and his kind, considerate mannerism makes you feel relaxed and not as worried about the treatment that may be needed for your specific situation. I highly recommend him.

Dr. NAPOLI took the time to explain the procedure and made sure all my questions were answered. Follow up visits have done well. Would definitely recommend him for Duputren hand surgery.

Dr. Napoli took the time to listen to my symptoms and came up with a plan to help with Carpal Tunnel in both hands. Dr. Napoli acted quickly and scheduled surgery right away. Dr. Napoli did a great job with surgery and follow up care.

I went in knowing that my problem probably was trigger finger and the Dr validated my findings. He offered me three options for relief. I chose the least invasive first but then opted for surgery after getting no relief. The Mills River Surgery Center was wonderful and everything went well. I opted for local anesthesia so the doctor was able to talk me through everything he was doing. I had no complications and am recovering nicely. On my post-op appointment he answered all my questions and left me with the option of returning only if I had a problem. I am very happy with how I was treated and would recommend Dr. Napoli to anyone needing hand surgery. A shout out to Christie, his nurse, who was very friendly and remembered me on my return visit.
