I'm 63 and on SSI only at this time, waited over a month for this appointment as I have several urinary issues. Unfortunately being short on cash and with SSI coming in 5 days they refused to see me due to their demand for the $25.00 Co pay.. which I assured them I could pay within 5 days.. I dont want medical help from a Dr.this insensative .

I highly recommend Dr. Kim and his staff. They went above and beyond for me and I am truly grateful. I was able to get an emergency appointment last minute for extreme pain and discomfort and they did everything they could to make me more comfortable. The nursing staff is very friendly and comforting.

I highly recommend Dr. Jason Kim. He is an excellent surgeon for urinary conditions. He is kind, extremely knowledgeable and is an excellent skilled surgeon. He takes the time pre-operativley to explain the surgical procedure in detail and his staff and NP are very skilled and knowledgeable too! I have had many surgeries and by far Dr. Kim is the best surgeon!! I had a great post-op recovery due to Dr. Kim's surgical skills. Thank you Dr. Kim!

I felt very comfortable with Dr Kim and his team from beginning to end. All staff was attentive and polite. Also showed compassion. Dr Kim performed the mid urethral sling surgery on me and it has been a success. I must say he explained it thoroughly and answered all of my questions. He provided me with the risk factors but made me feel secure that he would take care of any complications if there were to be any. I definitely recommend Dr Kim to anyone who is seeking a Urologist who shows care and concern.

Dr Kim changed the quality of my life. For years, as a young woman, I suffered with urine loss after the birth of my Twins. I am a Personal Trainer and Fitness Instructor and this issue not only affected what I do for a living but it at times made me depressed. I had seen another physician for this issue years prior but never went through with the procedure because I was not comfortable with the physician. From the moment I met Dr Kim and his wonderful staff, I felt validated, comfortable and well educated on the process of the Altis Bladder Sling. Within weeks of my first appointment, the procedure was scheduled and the recovery time was minimal which allowed me to return to doing what I love. Ladies, you do not need to live with this issue! I never realized how much it affected me not only physically but mentally. This procedure has evolved so much over the years and I could not be happier that I had it done and my quality of life is so much better and the issue is no more!

I silently suffered with urinary incontinence and I was only 46 years old. I qualified for a mid urethral sling surgery and it was the best thing I could’ve ever done for myself. I have MS for 17yrs and a recent Stroke. I could not leave me house and go further than 20 minutes before needing to use bathroom. The MS and recent stroke destroyed what was left of nerves that control urination. Dr. Kim recommendation of a Bladder Stimulator was the best thing that happened in my life. After a year of intense rehabilitation I was able to return to work after implantation and drive to my job more than 1 1/2 away from my home with confidence. I returned to work and I bless the day I met Dr.Kim. I was able to return to ADL’s after only 1 week. I am alive so I am grateful for that but also I am resuming a life that has been shattered. Thank you Dr. Kim... I am only 40yrs old...

Dr Kim and his staff are fantastic! Everyone is courteous and sensitive that urology can be an embarrassing medical visit! They make sure you are comfortable and feel at ease to talk about what the problem is. Everything was explained in clear, easy to understand language and all my options were listed as well as the pros and cons. I opted for surgical intervention. Everything was done quickly, professionally and I was feeling better within days. Dr. Kim is very knowledgeable and making the decision to see him about my medical issues changed my life for the better. I highly recommend him!

I had been suffering from a prolapsed bladder for a number of years and Dr. Kim is now my hero! His professionalism, warmth and concern for my problem is deeply appreciated. After surgery I did not have any discomfort and his follow up care eased any concerns I might have had. His office staff was also very professional and friendly.

I had bladder sling procedure 2 weeks ago. I am very happy with the results - the down time was just a few days and the pain was minor and didn't last long. And I am no longer having any stress incontinence issues - thank you Dr. Kim!! He and his staff were very professional, friendly and warm. Stony Brook Ambulatory Surgical Center - moves like a well oiled machine. This was my 2nd procedure there in the past year. The nurses and anesthesiologists are all great. The facility is conveniently located with convenient office hours and a very professional, caring and knowledgeable staff. The appointments run on time or very close to on time and if their is a delay, they advise you as you arrive and stay very close to your appointment. The multidisciplinary staff are very caring for your privacy and complaints. Dr. Kim is extremely patient, kind and a fantastic surgeon. My procedure went exactly as he said and was extremely successful. I highly recommend.

This is not any easy problem to address at any age and especially so at 82. However, Dr. Kim and his staff made this as easy as possible. Dr. Kim, his nurse, Marge Brand and his Nurse Practitioner Yvonne Kwor, conduct examinations and present information and choices in a pleasant matter-of-fact style that is comforting and easy to understand. I am now two weeks from the procedure and couldn't be more pleased with the results.

Dr. Kim has been amazing. I went to see him after having a procedure done by another Urologist, that unfortunately did not have a good outcome. Dr. Kim met with me and discussed what his thoughts were. He and his staff have been outstanding. From the Dr. to his nurse Marge to his secretarial staff. My procedure was done at Stony Brook Hospital. Everyone that is part of his team I can’t say enough good things about. Thank you all.

Dr. Kim has been my urologist for many years. I have had surgery with him. I am currently receiving botox treatments for frequency of urination. I have just had my third botox treatment. Each treatment has lasted for a year which is considered excellent. These treatments are not very long or difficult and they have improved my life tremendously both during the day and during the night. I highly recommend Dr. Kim and botox treatments for those who would benefit from them.
