Dr. Heather Vanraalte, MD

I’ve been to three different OBGYNs and felt my pain dismissed and not taken seriously. It wasn’t until I was treated by Dr. Van Raalte that my concern was treated with care and acknowledged. She is the most respectful, knowledgable, expert in this field. A rare kind of doctor these days.

Never got as far as a visit. Tried to get appointment on line back in March 2021 No one got back to me. I called 3 additional times in April and early May, left messages all 3 times with my call back number , never got a call back. On my last message I said this is my 3rd and final call never a word back. I hope the doctor sees this because you are losing patients due to thefcat that your staff is not calling people back. It's unfortunate as I have had 2 friends that have gotten great results with Dr VanRaalte but unfortunately I will have to find someoen else.

My second appointment have been canceled by the office right before the COVID-19 outbreak. I was denied the possibility to have a telehealth visit, when I tried to schedule the appointment to ask about my health degradation and type of test to be rescheduled. Office manager was rude and making medical decision without even checking the facts. Even if the office ' have been undergoing the process of converting to their Epic Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system' , office should treat patients with respect. When you become an item number in the process is it a medicine ???

I am 80 years old and have been a patient of Dr. VanRaalte for many years. She is easy to talk to and very knowledgeable and confident. Her staff are all very professional and helpful. I would give her 10 stars if I could. Yes, I would highly recommend her.

Dr. van Raalte is a rare find. She has an excellent bedside manner that puts you right at ease. She takes her time, explains everything and more importantly listens to you. She is also highly skilled physician and surgeon. A winning combination! She has also surrounded herself with an excellent staff which makes for a wonderful visit. She was worth the wait and worth the drive! Highly recommend this office!

Dr. Van Raalte’s friendly personality makes it easy to talk to her about what could be embarrassing problems. She explains procedures well and answers any questions. She doesn’t rush to ou.

Office is well organized, especially for the pandemic situation with the CCP virus. Usage of Texting worked well. Dr. VanRaalte is an excellent doctor and surgeon with a great personality and energy. Her reputation is outstanding.

Professional and responsive staff, very clean and welcoming office. Dr VanRaalte is an attentive, communicative, and thoughtful doctor. No complaints or suggestions.

Respectful, kind, excellent, talented, compassionate, caring........all words used in other reviews and with which I heartily agree. I have complete confidence in her expertise in dealing with female issues. In addition a wonderful staff makes every visit well worth the 1.5 hour drive.

I consulted with Dr VanRaalte who came highly recommended by my physical therapist and pcp. I had Some anxiety prior to my appointment but her pleasant manner and expertise put me at ease. She explained in detail and came up with a promising treatment plan for me. I was extremely positive when I left there and confident in her excellent care. She and her office staff arr professional and caring. I highly recommend her and if it takes time to get an appointment she is worth the wait.

I began seeing Dr. Van Raalte because of issues with incontinence. With her extensive evaluation and patient education what I learned from her practice in approximately 2 1/2 months I was able to significantly improve my situation. I am continuing with more information to work toward a better even outcome.

I found my entire experience to be fantastic. Everyone at the office was friendly, helpful, and just put you at ease. I had a pubovaginal sling that corrected my issues with my bladder. I would recommend tbe procedure to everyone! The entire process was great from beginning to end. Dr. Van Raalte answered all my questions and put me at ease that my decision to go forward was an easy one. The procedure itself went well and I went home not even needing a tylenol!

I was a patient of Dr. VanRaalte for over a year. I was misdiagnosed and given treatments for overactive bladder that were not appropriate for my condition. Her physicians assistant keep pushing surgery on me which I refused. She was not the doctor and it was not her place to do that. When the office got the Mona Lisa Laser that expensive procedure was heavily pushed. The office is badly run and its motivation is pushing off the most expensive procedures for profit. Found a better doctor.
