3 month follow up
Dr. Fogleman performed non-invasive bunion surgery on my right foot in June. 3 months later I have minimal to no limp when walking and minimal to no swelling/pain. I am so pleased that I plan to have surgery on my left foot in December. Highly recommend him!

First impressions
This was my first visit with Dr Folgeman. I was thoroughly impressed! He was very thorough when asking about my history related to my foot and ankle and throughout the entire visit. I was more than satisfied with the time he spent with me and his answers/comments to my questions and concerns. We discussed plans regarding him coordinating care with my surgeon at Ortho-Carolina and how I would be notified of their joint plans for my care. Based on today’s visit I will not hesitate to return to him as warranted and have the upmost confidence and respect for him. I would highly recommend him to anyone for their foot/ankle problems.

Dr Jason Fogleman did surgery on my foot. Right after the surgery I was in a lot more pain than I should have been in and called repeatedly. At every follow up appointment, I told Dr Fogleman about the excruciating pain. At first he told me he could do nothing because he was worried about his license. Then at each appointment, he told me it wasn't possible to be feeling this pain. After 7 months of him telling me this and still not being able to walk, I got a 2nd opinion. I was immediately diagnosed with complex regional pain syndrome and reffered to pain management. Dr Fogleman should have easily understand that I was having CRPS but instead, he called me a liar. I've since had to have shots in my back with no relief of the pain. Early diagnosis is key to recovery. Before his surgery, I could work, walk, run, drive.. Now, I can do none of that!

Knows more about his patients pain than they do
My initial visit to Watauga Orthopedics with a swollen foot I was diagnosed with Charcot. My 1st visit with Dr. Fogleman I expressed the pain I had dealt with and he said since I was diabetic, the pain did not matter because I had neuropathy. The next couple of visits with him went about the same way. After over 3 months of his care my GP suggested I see another foot doctor. I went to a Podiatrist and also to an Orthopedic Surgeon and they ere both appalled by the method of treatment I had been receiving. The Podiatrist ordered an MRI and the Ortho followed that with a bone scan. My pain and swelling that Dr. Fogleman insisted was due to my diabetes ended up being a bone infection and I had developed Charcot over time with Dr. Fogleman having my foot in a cast and not treating the underlying issue. I know am facing some serious surgery and this possibly would have led to an amputation if I had not sought after 2nd and 3rd opinions.

Went back for my last recheck and he was really nice to talk to. He does everything he can to help you and isn't satisfied till he gets the results he wants. He's been a really good Dr. for a year and a half for me. Couldn't ask for a better Dr. Would highly recommend him.

Great experience for me.
My experience with Dr. Fogleman was fantastic. He explained everything where I could under but wasn't condescending. He was honest, thorough, wasn't quick to cut on me, and when it came to the injection I barely even felt it. Glad I got a recommendation to see him for sure.
