Dr. Brodsky was able to quickly see me after regular colonoscopy with another doctor found a large polyp in a difficult-to-remove location. He walked us through the details of the situation, which we previously had no knowledge of. He did a great job of making things understandable and was very patient and answered all of our questions. He also was instrumental in getting me in contact with a specialist who was ultimately able to remove the polyp without major surgery. If I had needed to get major surgery I would have been very confident in Dr. Brodsky's ability to perform that procedure successfully. Very grateful for what I consider life-saving advice and assistance from Dr. Brodsky.

MS Master Surgeon.I had an entangled and slightly mangled 3 year old shunt wrapped around an adjacent hernia.He used all of his know-how and indepth robotic techniques and Voila! Weeks have passed and I feel great with min. scarring. Well on my way back to a new enhanced six-pack. I would recommend Dr Brodsky to anyone, so knowledgeable, great personal understanding of his patients, wonderful bedside manner’s….His surgical skills are way beyond any surgeons ( in my humble opinion) in the area…Simply put.. he saved my life….2 major abdominal surgeries in less than one year….11/18/21 it will be exactly one year ago we met in the Emergency room at Shady Grove Hospital ( though I don’t remember all of it at that time)….Wonderful Surgeon

Gall Bladder removal. I was admitted to Shady Grove hospital as an emergency patient. I had United Healthcare insurance. Unbeknownst to me this doctor didn’t accept United Healthcare. I got billed as out of network and I received a bill several months later for $,1743 of the $3,300 total charges. An emergency operation should never treated as out of network, but there is some loophole that allows this. This is unethical and bad business. Having said that, the operation was fine.

Dr. Jason Brodsky was my surgeon recently at Shady Grove Hospital. He is an excellent doctor, and I feel very fortunate to have him working when I was unwell (unexpectedly). He was great at explaining the situation, surgery, and expected recovery. Dr. Brodsky did an excellent job -- as a result, I had a quick and easy recovery. If you are in need of a surgeon, Dr. Brodsky is an excellent physician.
