Dr. Jared J Wallen, MD

My experience was perplexing . He never said goodbye, all I did was say that I have retrograde ejaculation and on the next appointment he sent in his associate to tell me that I need to find another urologist . I was devistated !

I was 'treated' by Dr. Wallen while I was in the hospital with cancer. I use the term 'treated' loosely. Dr. Wallen was rude, arrogant, impatient, and reached erroneous and even flippant conclusions about my condition without even examining me. He babbled and digressed talking down to me about what my condition may be without any documentation. When I tried to ask a question he waved his hand at me dismissing me. I overheard the nurse asking about follow-up, and he said it was not his 'responsibility.' Then he told her to contact 'another urologist' which actually turned out to be my primary care physician (he couldn't even get that right). Dr. Wallen has no patience for detail. I found Dr. Wallen to be unconcerned, indifferent, impatient, rude, and a total narcissist. He has no compassion for patients regardless of their condition. I would never want to deal with Dr. Wallen again. In fact, I would feel that my health was in jeopardy if he were my doctor in the future.

Dr. Wallen is a great person and doctor. I have some urological issues and concerns that is not always very easy to talk about. Dr. Wallen took the time to answer my questions and has always been very helpful to me. He is very knowledgeable and I trust him. He is also very easy to talk to and I feel completely comfortable with him. I truly believe he cares about people in general and takes extra care of his patients. I am thankful to have him as my urologist. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a urologist. Thank you Dr. Wallen.

Dr Wallen is super.I had enlarged prostate.He did REZUM procedure..Went perfect...2 years later..still good.

My hesitation in going to a Urologist was holding me back for a few years. However, my fears/trepidations disappeared by going to Dr. Jared Wallen, referred by my PCP. My comforting visits culminated in the Green Light Laser surgery 2.5 weeks ago.....What Took Me So Long?! Dr. Wallen and his Office Staff are tops in all areas. I feel like a family member. Do not postpone being seen by THIS Urologist...you will be blessed in so doing!

After two visits absolutely nailed cause of my symptoms. Totally different than my expectations. He gave my wife and I a very thorough review along with the choices open to us after his discovery of my bladder tumor. Absolutely did not rush us during the visit. Was considerate enough to call us at home when questions arose about my scheduled bladder procedeure. Procedure was cancelled by the hospital due to COVID19 virus. I I asked for waiting period for hospital reschedule rather than undergo procedure in his office where removal of tumor may not have been as thorough. Dr. Wallen agrees. Some concerns about my suceptibility to Corona Virus at age 76 in a hospital environment. Highly recommend Dr Wallen. My neighbor was also a very satisfied patient of his for a prostate issue. In addition manager of a large Brandon restaurant, weve know for years, also recommended, very strongly, Dr. Wallen. Our family physician was our final recommendation. I highly recommend Dr. Wallen

never saw this Doctor/Specialist??? waited over 45 minutes the second visit, got totally ignored. I just left. 938 Oakfield Dr. Brandon they have billed wellcare over $1,000 and yet no doctor has ever seen me i am now looking for a new specialist. do not go there

Long wait to get in. Started with Nurse Practitioner and finally as things got worse two weeks later, was able to see the doctor. They did get me in fast and performed important tests, but lost a specimen that was supposed to be sent off for further testing. Not an easy one to get fluid for either. Let's just say its not peeing in a cup.

Dr Wallen quickly diagnosed my issue after thorough testing and carefully explained treatment options in language I could easily understand. He is very thorough and very knowledgeable about up to date treatment options. After the procedure, I had an issue that needed attention and he worked me into his busy schedule without an appointment. All his staff were very caring, courteous, and very professional. I recommend Dr. Wallen to anyone with urinary issues.

As a Patient of Dr. Wallen, I find him to be the best Urologist in the state of Florida. He is the most caring Doctor I have ever seen in the medical field. Let me tell you how picky I am. I have visited over 7 Urologists in the past year to help me solve my prostate problem. Not one of them helped me. I was losing confidence. Then I found Dr. Wallen, and my confidence returned. He is the best.

GO ANYWHERE ELSE! This is one of the most unprofessional and incompetent health practitioners offices I have ever dealt with in the last 20 years of my life. Not only did our 2 hour appointment time take a ridiculous 4 hours for no reason, but the lack of organization from the staff is now causing us months of frustrastion because their billing department is an absolute failure. I’ve called and spoken to the employees 5 times to correct this issue and now I’m being threatened with final notices

He is the best there is. Very Professional, smart and cares about his patients. If you live in the Tampa area and are in need of a urologist, this is the guy you want to see.
