My mother came from Ghana and was diagnosed with renal cell carcinoma. We made an appointment with Dr. Golden and believe me, our experience has been truly “golden”. His bed side manners and respect for us has been very great. My mom speaks no English, but she understands Dr Golden very well due to the way he communicated and explained every procedure with imagery and drawings. Thank you for showing us the utmost respect and calming my whole family down in moments where we thought cancer was the end. She is alive and well today after a year of undergoing partial nephrectomy. Thank you once again, keep bringing smiles and hope to all the families that come to you. God bless you!

Went to Dr. Golden via a recommenation from a previous patient for prostate and UTI issues that I neglected for many years (fear based) and had become unbearable. I also had extremely high PSA readings. Dr. Golden sent me for MRI and did a biopsy. Lucky for me nothing was found. Dr Green recommended Green Lazer treatment to open up my prostate. Surgery was successful. My PSA went from extremely high to low normal. The treatment cured all symptoms and I am now normal (prostate wise) in every way. Dr. Golden has a great team, surgery center in Elk Grove was top notch. I recommend Dr. Golden if you find yourself in need of a great Urologist.

Dr Golden has a great bedside manner. I've needed his medical attention for 3 or so years and he has been successful in putting my mind at ease regarding issues I found very frightening. He is professional, kind and patient. I've never felt rushed through my appointments and I believe he runs on time. After two panicked trips to the emergency room because I could not release urine, I learned I had been blessed with a very large prostate. I then began treatment with Dr. Golden who took me through two Greenlight Laser Treatments for BPH over a two-year period. He even caught and removed an early bladder cancer. Two further years of follow-up and the plumbing works -- no further inability to urinate and, often, doing so with a near-normal (for a 73-year-old) stream.I highly recommend Dr. Golden. He's friendly and relatable. For what I needed, I found him to be a skilled surgeon. His staff has always been great. If I should ever again need medical attention for any bladder or prostate issue, Dr. Golden would be my first choice for care.

Dr. Golden did my vasectomy. It was easier and faster than going to the dentist. I arrived, had the procedure, and was on my way home in just over an hour. I have no recovery pain or swelling. I took two acetaminophen after the procedure and had no need for more. He clearly has the golden touch!

If I could give him more stars I would. Very clear and caring. He conducted my nephrectomy and he saved my life. I highly highly recommend Dr. Golden. He listened to me when no other doctors would give me a chance.

The best urology in the world

Brian K. Golden, MD performed a Urolift procedure to address my increasing urgency and frequency that had become so stressful and interrupted my sleep several times per night. Dr. Golder did an exam and explained my options and expectations. He told me that based on what he saw that the Urolift may or may not provide satisfactory results and surely would not provide the excellent results that laser would. I chose the Urolift because I liked the lower risk of complications. After a month results were not satisfactory so we scheduled laser surgery for 2 months later. After the second month I was very happy and canceled the laser surgery. I am very happy with how Dr. Golden and his staff handled my case all the way through.

Today was my first visit, I was very impresse, I like doctors that are upfront direct and honest and he's all those things, very professional and his staff is likewise, specifically his nurse she is almost as wonderful as he. I would definitely recommend him.

I’ve been seeing Dr Golden for 3 years now with urinary inconsistence and chronic bladder infections following a kidney transplant 8 years ago. He finally convinced me to address the inconsistence with sling surgery. I had a suburethral sling procedure done 4 weeks ago and it’s the best thing I could have done. I came to Dr. Golden facing cancer on my transplant kidney, with a risk of the kidney not surviving the surgery and sending me back to a dismal life on dialysis. Dr. Golden found the tumor enmeshed in the scar tissue of the transplanted kidney, spent 5 hours meticulously separating one from the other, and I survived the surgery with less damage to my kidney than I dared hope, and with my quality of life saved. Yeah, I'd recommend Dr. Golden. I'd recommend Dr. Golden a lot.

I'm not found of Doctors, however Dr Golden is the exception. He is right to the point, explains your condition, your options, and what will give the best results with the Medical Science and procedures that exist today. He takes great pride in his profession, is very confident in what he does, is meticulous, and will advise and help you to make the best decisions regarding your condition. You will be pleased you met him, and listened to the options to help you make your decision.

Dr. Brian Golden is one of the very best Doctors I have ever seen. He has changed my life for the better in many ways. I was recently diagnosed with bladder cancer. My internal medicine doctor referred me to Dr. Golden. First I was given my first appointment date for 10 days out. I told Dr. Golden that if I do have cancer I really don’t want to wait 10 days to find out. His office called me back within 15 minutes and told me to show up tomorrow morning. After my cystoscopy he confirmed that

I called to find out the cost of a vasectomy, and was quoted a rate of $1397.20 by Pam. When we got the bill two months later, it was $1996, $600 more than what I was told on the phone. We tried to argue the rate, but were told over and over again that we should never have been given a quote on the phone. This, however, was not our fault. Regardless, we had no recourse. Even though we were told a price of $1397, we were still held responsible to pay $600 more than this. We are still paying.

Dr. Golden was really friendly and relates to what I was experiencing immediately! In addition to drinking water, he told me the key to prevent kidney stones was to avoid "oxalate" containing products & he gave me a list of foods with "high/moderate/low" oxalate content. I came in thinking that cranberry juice would prevent it. But after learning from him to drink lemonade instead, I removed cranberry juice from my list of beverages to drink to prevent kidney stones. I'd recommend him to anyone!

Dr. Golden performed my vasectomy 4 days ago. The procedure itself took less than ten minutes and was pain free. His demeanor is down to earth, he was very personable and the procedure could not have gone better. I would recommend him for any man for this procedure. His staff was great with me, and my recovery has been excellent so far.

My survey is when Dr. Golden was located and practicing in Las Vegas, while I was his patient. I feel he did some unwanted/un-neded surgeries on me.
