Bad, Period.
James Gonzales performed an operation on me without having the equipment there to finish the job. BIG FAT F. caused an infection that sent me to the ER with 109 temperature.

Above and Beyond Care
Dr. Gonzalez explains things very well and is happy to answer questions. His staff is professional, caring and thorough. My mother was sent to the ER from his office and one of his nurses accompanied her and let me know what was going on and stayed with her until I was able to get there. This office is on point with a huge dose of compassion.

Excellent Doctor
I currently am recovering from umbilical hernia surgery from October 12th 2022. He is absolutely wonderful and very respectful. After the 2 day post op I stopped taking the pain meds and was able to cope with the healing process without any medication. He knows what he is doing and so does all of his wonderful staff. I highly recommend him for any general surgery that he is able to perform. Great job Dr. Gonzales and thank you for making me feel comfortable and at ease with the surgery. You are wonderful at what you do and it truly shows.

Ruptured appendix
Dr. Gonzales was great with my son and I. My 20 yo son had a ruptured appendix and needed surgery right away. The OR was busy, but Dr G got him in, and was able to clean up my son’s gut and start the healing process. My son was in a lot of pain and discomfort, but Dr. G’s demeanor really helped lighten our stress and concerns. We appreciated that as much as his surgical skills. I hope none of us ever need emergency surgery again. But, if we do, can we call Dr. G???

I was very apprehensive about doctors when I developed a hernia and could not take the pain any longer! I searched for available surgeons and my ultimate choice was for Dr. James Gonzalez. From the onset I was treated with respect and professionalism from every person in the office. The day of the surgery was just as comforting and professional. I am totally impressed with Dr. Gonzalez's skills and he has helped to regain confidence in the medical field. Thank You Doc and your team!!

I was very sick and ended up in the ER. One phone call and I was seen in the am by Dr. Gonzalez, followed by surgery the same day. I couldn't have asked for a nicer doctor who spent time reassuring me everything would be ok!
