He's the best of the best!
Dr Opie has performed several life saving surgeries on my including bowel perforation & bowel resections. He has a very caring bedside manner and will tell you like it is respectfully & honestly. He has been a rock throughout my healthcare journey.Dr Opie also performed a gastric sleeve on my husband which has been very successful.

Dr. Opie is very passionate about the care of his patients. He patiently answers any questions and addresses concerns, and makes sure you understand what needs to change in your (the patient's) behavior/habits to ensure the best possible outcome of his treatment. If you mess up, he will very firmly scold you...but only if you deserve it. It's 100% because he cares.

He saved me from a tunnel of pain
Dr. Opie recently performed my adenoidectomy surgery. He explained to me professionally, drawing pictures as he went, and reassured me with kindness and confidence as I worried about the surgery. The surgery was successful and I am free from the pain of gallstones and back to normal. I would like to thank him and all the staff.

Outstanding Surgeon
Dr. Opie is a top-notch surgeon, up to speed on the latest technology and procedural methods. He performed a quite invasive procedure on me two weeks ago, and did an amazing job…back on my feet in no time. Thanks Doc…couldn’t ask for a better outcome.

Did not diagnose me properly
I was told by Dr. Opie that I needed surgery for an inguinal hernia. Less than a month later, my pain went away, and it turns out I didn't have a hernia after all. I'm glad I didn't get the surgery.

Excellent surgeon!
Dr Opie was extremely helpful, caring and friendly!! His entire office is refreshingly friendly and helpful as well! I went for post surgery exam and was hurting. I left laughing with the staff!! Extremely uncommon nowadays to find such a great surgeon who’s human and kind!
