A Doctor's Doctor
Paramount above all else is skill and experience. Dr. Blaisdell possess exceptional amounts of both. My father was, and my brother is an orthopedic surgeon. It was apparent from our first meeting when my wife seriously busted her leg to the final visit when everything properly healed that we had 'lucked-out'. And his communication skills and bed-side skills aren't bad either!

A White Night with a Scalpel!
I suffered a traumatic tibial plateau fracture and was referred to him due to the complexity of the repair. Though I am an active person, I'm 65 with osteopenia which didn't help. When I met him, he was personable, engaged in the discussion, and gave me the confidence I needed to believe in an eventual good outcome. I'm a veterinary medical professional, so I'm not used to the role of 'patient.' His team of nurses and anesthesiologists were highly professional and helpful. I'm on the mend, and I recommend this team highly and without reservation!

In May of 2014, Dr Blaisdell repaired my shoulder after a fall off a stepladder. A major surgery with rods and screws which remain. I have 95% range of motion and can work above my head with ease. I was very blessed to have met Dr Blaisdell with his trauma and orthopedic expertise. I would recommend him to anyone!

In 2014 I was hit by a tree and Dr. B was the surgeon at the ER as well as the Dr. I followed up with; his diagnosis was broken scapula. After his failure to listen to my symptoms I sought out another Dr., who diagnosed me with 2 broken scapulae, 8 broken ribs, and a burst fracture in my spine with a piece of bone over 50% into my spinal cord. I was immediately brought to ICU and had 6 vertebrae fused. All hospital records were reviewed and showed he missed all fractures. Would NOT recommend!

He really seems to know his stuff, and he had me up and walking much sooner than I expected. Incision was nicely done and hopefully won't leave too much of a scar over time. The PA who worked with Gregory Blaisdell was named, "Lawrence" he was also very knowledgeable and was my first point of contact who recommended Dr. Blaisdell. Both understood love of sports - gave me options, but wanted to be sure I don't walk with a limp rest of my life. Both good guys.
