Shoulder and knee injury
Dr Hawk gave me an injection for my injured shoulder and examined my knee after I took a fall over a piece of wood. Dr Hawk actually cares about my injuries and got me into his office for an evaluation. He and his office are the best in the Valley. I drove an hour to see him, that's how good he is.

The BEST
In 2005, I fell from a ladder and suffered a tibial plateau fracture with avulsed ACL and PCL, both with bone fragments. The CAT scan taken in emergency room showed many bone fragments in the joint area. After incompetent diagnosis and treatment by another orthopedist (see my review of Dale Federico), I obtained two second opinions and eventual referral by the emergency room physician to Dr. Hawk. Dr. Hawk was not able to lift the tibial plateau because too much time had elapsed since injury. He noted that the ACL and PCL were not torn, but had bone attached, flipped up. He knit together bone fragments and ligaments and then sutured these into place. I suffered a DVT post surgery because of extreme swelling. Also, I endured pain for about 6 months, during physical therapy and normal weight bearing. Walking in a swimming pool helped a lot. I am now healed and thankful for the excellent treatment I received from Dr. Hawk. I highly recommend Dr. Hawk!

He is great! I felt at ease from very first time
My visits and surgery went great. Had no problems after my reverse shoulder replacement. Had busted other orthopedic doctor about surgery and his demeanor was awful. Dr Hawk explains everything and he has a very calming voice. His background is awesome. I made my decision in few minutes after talking with Dr Hawk. I will definitely recommend him to anybody who needs shoulder replacement. You won’t be sorry This is from someone who does not like doctors until now. You can’t go wrong
