After having Thyroid Cancer, in 2005, I was put on Levothyroxin. I never regained any of my former vigor. My health kept going downhill, no matter how the Drs adjusted the levothyroxin levels up or down...always too high or too low. My heath was so bad that I could hardly get out of bed...no energy, swelling, anger, depression, and so much more... Dr Mauldin kept checking for something to help me get my health back... Turned out that I was having an allergic reaction to levothyroxin fillers...and sever sleep apnea. He changed my medicine to mix of natural and synthetic. Name brand Synthroid and natural Armour... I highly recommend Dr Mauldin. It has been 10 years since I started taking my new medications, it did take some time to get the dosage right. However, now I can enjoy my children and grandchildren, live my life, and not in a chair or bed all day.

I recently had surgery on the December 21st 2018 for a Septoplasty and Turbinate Reduction, I was very impressed by the staff of Carolina ENT and Dr. Maudlin was very professional. The procedure was explained to me in detail as well as what was to be expected through the recovery process. I would highly recommend his services to anyone looking to feel better pertaining to issues with their ear, nose or throat. Thank you for your experience and precision!!! Sincerely, Steven R. Schneider

Dr. Mauldin by far is the best ENT Dr. I've had the pleasure of being under his care He's kind and caring towards his patients and takes the time to explain things without rushing you. I've been seeing him since he was at Greystone ENT. And I will continue seeing him as needed.

Simply put, Dr. Mauldin is the best. He combines professionalism and competence with a very compassionate and caring personality. He takes the time to explain what your diagnosis is and gives you time to ask questions. He's done two surgeries on me and his surgical skills are second to none. Because of his excellent reputation, he can be very busy...but he is worth the wait.

I have been seeing Dr. Mauldin as a patient for a lot of years and have also had the opportunity to assist him in a medical capacity. I not only have observed him as a patient but have also had the opportunity to observe him interacting with other numerous patients. His skill and compassion with other patients led me to seek him as my own physician. I have nothing but good things to say about this skilled physician and would recommend him to anyone seeking any head and neck treatment.

During an extremely scary and stressful event, I found Dr. Mauldin to be extremely conscientious and caring. He listens to my concerns and tries to treat my symptoms and not just the numbers on my lab reports. After a complete thyroidectomy, he left my parathyroid glands completely intact with no damage to my vocal chords. He is an excellent sugeon and I have and would recommend hm again.

I have been going to this ENT office for 15+ years, this is the first time I saw this doctor. I had a serious sinus infection for the past 14 months(Comes & goes) this doctor decides to do a sinus MRI. This can't be done nowhere but his office & they want to charge more than what my insurance says that I have pay which is zero amount & they want to do the MRI three weeks from now. This is very unsatisfactory to the medical field.

I have been seeing Dr. Mauldin since 1995. He is the best Dr. I have ever seen. I told him he can never retire. I seen him a lot in the Lincolnton office, but have also seen him in Hickory. I had a cholesteatoma removed in 1995, and have to see him usually every 3-4 months. My son, and my father also have seen Dr. Mauldin. My father had surgery on his sinuses and doing much better. You can ask for no better. He is great!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
