Dr. Eran Duzman, MD

Dr. Eran Duzman was the perfect fit for my mom. The previous ophthalmologist we saw was curt, unfriendly, and also said my mother did not have cataracts. I asked for another referral, and thank goodness they gave us Dr. Duzman’s office. Amy at the front made it easy to schedule and is very nice. Amy in the back is amazing working with my mom and is very patient. Dr. Duzman put my mom at ease from the start. I completely trust him, and I actually have looked forward to coming to this office because they have been so wonderful to my mother and I.

I don't know if the wrong lens was inserted during my cataract surgery but my vision was worse after the surgery. I had my vision checked by another office and they said my vision should have been better than it was with a new lens. Also, eye that had cataract surgery has increased dry eye after the surgery. When I asked about these two issues I received the response that cataract surgery isn't guaranteed and a 'shoulder shrug' about the dry eye. Every other person I had asked about their cataract surgery stated their vision was much better after the surgery.

My vision had been deteriorating over the last five years. I initiated an appointment with Doctor Duzman, M.D. which after pre-op appointment(s) it was agreed Cataract removal left eye was required. The procedure took place at the Doctors Surgery Centre in Newport Beach, was uneventful and 100% successful. Vision at age 66 is now 20/25 and I am looking forward to a second visit for identical surgery to my alternative eye. The Staff, nurses are all compassionate and veterans of the procedure. You are in excellent hands and I have absolutely no hesitation in referring Doctor Duzman, M.D. for your medical- eyesight needs. Thank you Doctor, outstanding vision recovered from my youth.
