He is amazing! He is knowledgeable, efficient but not hurried, and has a terrific bedside manner. I really can’t say enough nice things about Dr. Patterson, and he has my complete confidence.

Mixed review - no problems with Dr. himself
Unfortunately, Dr. Patterson could not help me with eye floaters as he specializes on the front of the eye. He recommended I see a retina specialist, who I had already seen. Wish the scheduler had told me that when I told them the purpose of my visit was eye floaters. Dr. Patterson was fine. No problems with him personally. Office staff upfront needs to be better informed/trained. This practice's contract with my UnitedHealthcare insurance plan only gives a small discount for in-network doctors, so I was shocked by the Allowed Amount that I was required to pay. It was not in line with other eye doctor practices. So, beware if you have UnitedHealthcare before going to this practice.

Athens, GA patient with Eye Floaters – Jul 09, 2022

There are five doctors at this clinic but only one machine that checks peripheral vision. When I made an appointment I specifically made sure that I would see Dr Pattison and have my peripheral vision test on tbe same visit. When I arrived for my visit, I was told that the machine had been overbooked and I was not getting the test that day. This was irksome since I have a co-payment for each visit. This was not Dr. Pattison's fault but the fault of the clinic. Too many doctors and patients for the number of machines thst are available.
