Compassionate and caring
I was a patient of Dr. Wickstroms many years ago. Her skill and compassion made her my favorite doctor in the rotation. She listened and had a way of making my world better every time I saw her - even though it was a very difficult pregnancy.

Great doctor but….
This office sent me to collections for a bill that was supposed to be paid by insurance. Our insurance reached the out of pocket maximum before going to this doctor, they submitted the bill incorrectly and claimed I owed $700+. I said to resubmit but they sent me to collections which dropped my credit score 100 points. Now we can’t buy a house. Also $1000 for an ultrasound is just pure greed. Especially when nothing is wrong with the baby and they want several repeat ultrasounds. The only reason I was sent over was because I was over 35 and had some minor health issues. But this was baby #3 and I had 2 healthy pregnancies prior.

She has been incredible so far in helping my wife and I. She’s extremely passionate and confident and a joy to work with. I absolutely adore Dr. Wickstrom and so does my wife. We were very close to losing our baby and she saved her life. I will always have nothing but positive things to say about Dr. Wickstrom. Thank you for everything you have done for us so far! You’re an amazing doctor and human being!

I love both her and Debra. They have helped me through my three GD babies. This last time my GD started at 14 weeks and I was able to stay diet controlled the entire pregnancy. Someone said she’s anti choice? I don’t know where that poster is coming from, but that has not been my experience with her office at all (based on some things said during an ultrasound with my second). Things can go wrong at any point in a pregnancy and not everything is 100% detectable on an ultrasound. I’m so sad they left Shawnee Mission (or whatever they call it now).

Horrible woman, even worse doctor. We lost our baby at 32 weeks because she failed to disclose fetal brain abnormalities during the 22 week scan. I will go so far as to say her anti-choice opinions had a major affect on her practice. She should be sued for malpractice. I couldn't be happier she has lost her office to CMH. Good riddance.

I cannot understand these negative reviews. I just had an amnio done by Dr. Wickstrom. Our first child passed away from a genetic disorder so I was incredibly nervous for this procedure. She was amazing, professional but very personable. I was in and out in less than an hour. I’m excited to go back to her for our Level 2 ultrasound.

Dr Wickstrom was a life saver (literally). She is very good at what she does. I had a high risk pregnancy and met with her several times throughout my pregnancy. I will be forever grateful to her and my normal ob docotor. I went to the hospital one day because I wasn't feeling well. The staff notified her right away that something wasn't right, and thanks to everyones quick responses they saved my babies and I. I had placenta abruption and was bleeding out internally.

I almost switched hospitals because of my experience with her. She was pushy and showed no concern for my fears and hesitations. She didn't ask if had any questions or concerns and spent next to no time with me. She just barked out orders as if I had no say, and was on her way. Next baby I'm finding a different hospital to avoid that kind of experience again.
