Real professional, great bedside manner.
I found Dr. Parrott to be one of the most professional doctors I had to encounter while in Kansas. She did my amnio. We didnt have much of a discussion, I thought they had booked it with another doctor but she was professional and had a great bedside manner. I actually asked if she could deliver my baby. I never did find a OBGYN while I was in KS and it was the main reason I was dying to escape. I thought the doctors were all lacking (very few have board certifications, Jessica DOES). Midwest fetal medicine would have been perfect if they did deliveries.

Patient and Informative
I called with some questions the week after my appointment. Dr. Parrott called me back within the hour. She listened to my concerns and answered all my questions about the ultrasound in question. I left the conversation feeling informed and well taken care of.

Unprofessional
This doctor was extremely short and complained about having to pull up previous ultrasounds on her laptop in order to answer my questions regarding my baby. She was very cold and rolled her eyes at me multiple times. She never introduced herself or the 2 individuals she brought into the room with her. She made comments about my weight & pretty much answered all my questions with “i don’t know”

Personable and Supportive
We saw Dr Parrot for RPL and preconception counseling. She was professional and answered all of our questions directly. We appreciate her direct answers and not giving us the go around. She was a great listener and comprehensive. The genetics counselor who was also in the meeting was professional and personable. Both providers were nice and supportive.

cold and aloof beside manner
Saw Dr. Parrot twice, she was cold, short and distant. Hardly made eye contact and spent as little as 90 seconds with us at our 2nd visit.

Judgemental doctor, lacks patient care
I was referred to Dr. Parrott for my 20 week ultrasound. When she brought up completing additional gene carrier testing, my husband and I said we did not want that and she seemed judgemental of our choice and it felt pretty clear she disagreed with our choice. Additionally I told her that I was having pain after sex and was a little worried and she responded with"welcome to pregnancy" and said this was normal and did not offer any helpful advice (such as stretching or pelvic floor work). Even if it is normal to feel different after sex when pregnant, the way she talked to me felt condescending and invalidating. Was very disappointed about this visit especially because I had to pay this doctor out of pocket.

Dr. Parrott was very knowledgeable and professional. All our questions were answered in detail. Our follow up appointments were made for ultrasounds before we left her office. The office staff was polite and very friendly. I would highly recommend this Maternal Fetal Health Office. Great experience!

Dr. Parrott tried to scare us into a test that we made clear we didn’t want. She was cold and rushed during the few appointments we went to with her before we switched providers. That provider was terrible at communicating too so best to avoid the entire practice.

My wife had a terribly unprofessional visit from Dr. Parrott. She was unfriendly, did not listen and completely out of line with her questions and sharing misleading information to pressure my wife in to do something she did not want. Upon the request of our pediatrician we returned for one last visit. It was clearly communicated to the office staff that she was not willing to see Dr. Parrott again and would see another doctor. The office staff agreed to doing so and that it was an option. When it was time for the doctor to see my wife, unbelievably Dr. Parrott comes barging in. No acknowledgement of the request my wife had made. No “I’m sorry the other doctors were busy“. Nothing! Where is a patient’s opportunity for choice?? It went completely unheard. Honoring reasonable requests of a patient is simply dismissed? What an embarrassing and unprofessional situation to put a patient in. Highly recommended that you do not see this doctor if you want to have a choice as a patient.
