Exceptional hip replacement surgery & followup
Dr. Murphy was absolutely wonderful thru every step of my hip replacement. He was patient in listening and answering all of my questions. He was direct, decisive and informative in his responses. Surgery went smoothly and follow-ups were great. Couldn’t ask for a better experience.

Best doc for Orthopedics
Dr. Murphy performed a surgery for my distal radial fracture where he applied a plate to realign and hold mybroken bones in place. After the surgery I did physical therapy for a few weeks. The physical therapists all remarked that I had the best range of motion of anyone they'd seen with this kind of fracture so soon after the operation. If that's not a testimony to a job well done, I don't know what is. I even accidentally fell twice after the surgery and landed on the same thing but it didn't hurt a thing so that plate is working quite well despite my clumsiness.Dr. Murphy is an excellent surgeon who is kind and respectful to his patients. Everyone on his team that worked with me at MOST were awesome and very kind as well. I highly recommend Dr. Murphy and his team. They are indeed the best.

Dr. Murphy is a kind and patient doctor who takes time to listen to your questions and to explain all of the possible treatment options. He recently performed surgery to fix my badly broken upper right arm (humerus fracture) and the outcome has been amazing. I only needed pain meds for two days and then ice for a couple of days after that. After only two weeks I am able to perform light tasks with my arm and hand. If you are in need of orthopedic care, I highly recommend Dr. Murphy.

Lovely. Long time patient of the practise, first time visit w/ Dr. Murphy. Recurring leg injury fr. playing tennis wasn’t getting better w/ sporadic rest, and looking at x-rays he immediately recognized the injury to the smaller of the two calf muscles: “tennis leg”! I was glad for two reasons: 1. he described injury quickly while printing a pic w/o my even asking; 2. I now knew both the cause and fix, and 3. (I lied about only two) something called “tennis leg” put me in the company of real tennis players! ?? He also showed me two quick exercises to do instead of formal PT, and told me to call only if I continued to have problems. Easy, quick, professional and friendly.

Dr. Murphy is fantastic. My leg fracture surgery was clearly well done. I am recovering quickly and the scar doesn’t look bad at all. He has been very informative along the way and has just given me confidence and peace throughout the whole process!

As a career gymnast competing around the world, I needed the BEST. Dr. Murphy IS the best. He always listened to my concerns, from when I was 13 to now, at age 25. From attending to stress fractures to high ankle sprains, to completely fixing a torn ACL (and then some), to repair of a torn labrum, Dr. Murphy continued to fix me up. I'm now retired and living with an incredible quality of life thanks to his continued stellar work. Just FOLLOW YOUR PHYSICAL THERAPY REGIMENT, and you'll be good to go!

I first got to know Dr. Murphy though my daughter's both competitive gymnast and their many injuries. He always took the time to carefully explain their injuries, treatment, and recovery to them. Fast forward 6 years and I needed Dr. Murphy myself to repair a torn meniscus that was misdiagnosed by two previous doctors. I was thrilled to see he provided the same level of explanation to me as an adult that he'd shown with my kids. He made me feel comfortable with the entire process. Here is what a patient really wants to know: friendly staff, short wait times, takes time to answer your questions, uses 3D model to ensure understanding, follows up after surgery, fantastic surgeon.

Old patient, 24 yrs ago he fixed my femur and growth plate from a car accident; 2 yrs later fell almost 20ft and shattered my fibia, tibia, and ankle. He literally saved my right leg when I was a kid. Been 18 yrs since my last visit or surgery and I’m still going strong kicking butt because of him. Best doctor ever.
