Excellence in Rehabilitation and More
Dr. Spiteri is amazing. He is very knowledgeable and capable, explaining things well. He also gives me suggestions, treatment ideas, and referrals to another doctor in the practice who does guided SI injections. I went originally because of damage due to statins, and he suggested that I have spondylitis. (Possibility of ankylosing spondylitis is still being investigated.). Physical therapy that he prescribed has truly helped. Other noninvasive solutions are not all as great, but I do not have an undue amount of pain to manage.I remembered him as a head resident at Beaumont, with many excellent suggestions for me then. He has only improved with experience. He was an outstanding physician, and still has been for me. I am left with reassurance, suggestions, appropriate advice, and the promise of more help. His perspective is of great value to me. I respect his opinions and his humanity. He has improved my life. I am deeply thankful. His value to me is invaluable.

I was recently referred to Dr. Spiteri by my PCP and I couldn't be happier! He was very attentive and explained in detail everything that he did during the physical exam. He also answered my questions thoroughly. I did not feel rushed during the my appointment and he had wonderful bedside manner. I appreciated that the initial questions were done over the phone while in the office to limit the amount of face-to-face interaction. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a compassionate Dr.

I went to him once for sciatica pain. He kept pushing his opinion that I had a broken pelvis and ordered an elaborate bone scan. He then offered me a wide selection of opiate pain killers to choose from . I did not have a broken pelvis and rejected his drug pushing. I never went back to him but I would be afraid to recommend him to anyone who is not there for thprescription drugs.

I was evaluated by this physician during Covid 19 for my back pain. His office was very organized and provided a safe environment for my visit. He used a hybrid model of telemedicine to get my history via phone/video connection to avoid any potential prolonged exposure to me and then came into the room to examine me and provide a treatment plan. He explained my problem in terms that I could understand. He spent a good amount of time with me creating a treatment plan which has been very helpful thus far. Not sure why there are negative reviews—-I had an excellent experience. I highly recommend him!

1st time I have seen Dr. Spiteri and he was professionally friendly and courteous. I have been having pain, off and on, in my hip. Without consulting other doctors I've been to, he came up with the same prognosis and that was the pain in my hip is caused by issues with my spinal column. He explained it in terms that I could understand and spent a good amount of time with me. He gave me 2 prescriptions - one for a drug and one for special kind of physical therapy. I will be going back to him.

Dt spiteri was recommended by my prime care dr after I had a back injury with accompanying leg pain. He appeared very hurried on my one and only visit , and professed, without even looking at the affected area, that my tailbone was broken and that in his lengthy experience he was 99 percent sure. He gave me a large script for narcotics and ordered an extensive bone scan , instead of simple X-rays. I went to an orthopedic ;no broken tailbone.it is a tpinched nerve.I lost 3 wksAnd had much pain.

Dr only reviews MRI results when in his local office. Office could not find results 8 days after script for written MRI results not reviewed. 5 days to get authorization at least 4 days after MRI still no results. No sense of urgency.

My husband saw dr spiteri and it was a worthless appointment ,Dr would not look at his mri, and my husband who has 4 herniated discs needed epidural injections for pain relief but Dr did nothing for his pain but gave him an rx for a seizure drug that completely knocked him out so he couldn't go to work. Dr had him put on a hospital gown just to tap his knee and move his leg around -why? That was billing insurance and him paying a 50.00 copay for nothing! No trust was established !!#

Best doctor ever but the lady or ladies at the desk have accents and it's too hard to make an appointment. Today I had a question and wanted to make an appointment but it's just too stressful. I'm shocked that in one review someone said he got angry. He is always pleasant. The lady who works directly with Spiteri is very nice. It's just too difficult over the phone.

When I first met Dr Spiteri it was at a Nsg home for my mom, which we quickly removed her from within 24 hours. She was ill, dizzy, pale, and nauseated. He was very kind and said that it was fine, and she could receive PT at home. I liked his personality. While we were taking care of my mom I was injured, quite badly. I first went to my PCP, however I wasn't getting any better. I decided I would go see Dr. Spiteri, which I did everything he requested. He was angry I wasn't doing any better!!!!
