Dr. Daryl Colden, MD

Dr. Colden was downright dismissive during my appointment. He was rushed. He did not listen to me when I explained my symptoms. Looked in my (barely) and said there was noting wrong and tried to send me on my way. I explained that I was in pain. His response was 'I have lots of patients that are in pain' He offered me a hearing test, which I did not need. I left feeling totally defeated with no treatment for my symptoms. The next day, I was still in pain and ended up at MA Eye and Ear Infirmary in Boston. Within 5 minutes of meeting with a doctor, they diagnosed the problem (which was quite significant) I would not recommend Dr. Colden. He made me feel like I was just another number, he clearly did not do a thorough evaluation of my ear or he would have diagnosed what MA Eye and Ear did while I was in his office.

Dr. Daryl Colden, MD, FACS performed surgery to fix my broken nose. Evidently, a true master of surgery. Of course with anyone doing surgery (especially on the face), I wanted to be completely confident in who I chose. Well, between the 2 surgeons I was considering, I'm glad I went with Dr. Colden because he had extensive experience and knowledge. My nose healed wonderfully and I would honestly recommend him to anyone who needs the same type of care. He was respectful, personable, and very intelligent. 5 stars for Dr. Colden

While he is a very knowledgeable man, Dr. Colden really plays the money game. He pushes people to use his services, does not spend much time with patients in order to fit more patients in per day, and often creates long wait times for patients. I would recommend seeing one of the other ENTs, both of which have better bedside manner as well.

Great doctor, intelligent, articulate, knowledgeable and personable

Dr. Colden performed balloon sinusplasty for me about a month ago. Since I have had the procedure it has been life changing and I can’t believe the difference in my breathing. While he was performing the surgery he also removed a bunch of polyps which has also contributed to my breathing improvements. I must say, I went through a lot of pain during the procedure (mainly because I was awake and the polyps also had to be removed). At the end of the procedure I was a bit frustrated I was awake for the procedure but after a week of recovery I couldn’t recommend the procedure or Dr. Colden enough. Dr. Colden has been a tremendous help with all of my EN&T needs.

This is an extremely competent and specialized doctor. Dr. Colden has my trust and I praise him for performing septoplasty and helping my sleep apnea greatly. I highly recommend him and have nothing but high esteem for him and his staff. Thank you Dr. Colden!

I recently had surgery with Dr. Colden and he was WONDERFUL. He had the best bedside manner, took his time answering my questions, explaining everything to me and made me feel so much better about my procedure. I would HIGHLY recommend him and I will go back to him in a second if I need another ENT specialist. Loved him! The office staff and medical assistants were also VERY nice and great at what they do.

He didn't have very good bedside manners. He wouldn't look me in the eye. Didn't ask many questions and didn't spend much time with me. And he tried to get me to come back for more allergy testing. Overall i felt rushed and like I was being pushed for more services.
