Adult Tonsil Surgery = No Joke
I had to have my tonsils removed as an adult. It's more of a big deal as an adult versus being a kid. Dr. Dan was awesome - there were some (no fault of his own) complications afterwards and he was very supportive throughout. Follow the instructions given to you!!!

Stay Away
Stay away from this "doctor". Unfortunately I made the mistake of having two surgeries. Many mishaps. First mishap, Heywood Hospital took an xray instead of a ct scan of my sinuses. of my own fault I did wait a while after the xray to follow up with Dr. Ervin for surgery, however, before my first surgery, Dr. Ervin stated "oh they took the wrong xray, (which he apparently didn't ever look into prior) but we will go ahead with surgery anyways" (2018). A few weeks after the surgery, I came back with multiple complaints that i still could not breathe. I was prescribed nasal sprays. Eventually I couldn't handle it anymore and contacted the office, got the ct scan from the photo below (2021). Dr. Ervin informed me I had "debris" in my sinuses and I followed through with the second surgery. Never did Dr Ervin tell me I had a huge growth in my sinus which may have been detected at an earlier time if the correct scans were done before the first surgery. At the conclusion of the surgery in anes

Never have I seen such an incompetent office run, requesting medical information be faxed, was ridiculous. HIPPA is meant to assist in your care, not inhibit it, but with them it inhibited it. Release of information faxed to them and still could not forward my information. Then charging me for a copay already paid, and having the audacity to say it was never paid, when every other copay had been paid on my cc, but I have to show proof, because they are incompetent. Go to Boston, don't waste your time with incompetence>

Took 2 months to get an appointment. Flew my daughter home from college for it. She has had tonsil problems for year and it was finally time to have them looked at. He came into the room, barely said hello, looked at her throat said everything looks fine and gave her a scrip for mouthwash. She has had infection after infection, tonsil stones and overall continuos pain. He could not have been less interested in finding a solution or cause. We will be seeking a second opinion and referring anyone

I had a referral here because of a growth in my throat. My appt was hurried and I was sent for a biopsy. After a week of calling for my results, I was asked by the receptionist if I was having a concern ? Really? I asked when calling on three separate occasions to schedule an appointment and was told that the Dr would get back to me! Absolutely ridiculous care!

I went to chapel ENT on a referral for painful blocked ears. I was supposed to be the first appointment and I arrived early. I sat for almost 20 minutes while everyone shuffled around and apparently the doctor was late. I finally was called in after almost a half hour and I sat in a chair in the exam room and continued to wait. The doctor came in, obviously flustered, didn’t even introduce himself and looked in my ears quickly and didn’t say a word. He left the room. I sat longer, 15 minutes. Fi

Wish I'd known ahead of time but had an idea after waiting in tiny, crowded creepy church themed building with a dead clock and signs stating "Absolutely no smoking, eating Or drinking." Doctor was rude rushed and distracted. It was almost comical with his cell phone constantly ringing after coming into the room with no preamble and obviously not even consulting paperwork as to why I was there. Just a "what brings you here," impatient attitude. Hopefully I can find someone else next time around

Suspected cancer. Dr. Ervin removed as much of the cancer as possible and got me into the pipeline for chemo and radiation treatments. He saved my life.
