Dr. Charlotte Caligiuri, MD

I was 2.5 hours from home when I ended up in a small town ER late on a Thursday night with an obstructing kidney stone. After pain meds I was advised to go home and contact a local urologist the next day. From previous experience I knew I would not be seen in a timely manner. They called Dr. Caligiuri and she immediately agreed to see me the next day and perform stone removal at the end of her clinic day. (5pm on a Friday) She explained the procedure before and after and scheduled a second procedure for 5 days later. She takes time and listens to her patients. I will gladly drive 2.5 hours for follow up care to be seen by a doctor who cares.

Dr. Caligiuri takes her time with you. She doesn’t rush you in and out. She gives options to best treat what’s going on followed by a plan to stay on the right track.

I have been to 6 urologist and she is the best. Answered all my questions. When doing camera inspections of my bladder she explained the different structures I could see and was absolutely the most painless urologist. Always explained what she was going to do during the 3 operations she preformed on me.

She is a wonderful provider. Very professional and kind. Let’s me make a choice about my care.
