Wonderful bedside manner, outstanding surgeon, did the most complex surgery possible on my neck, with outstanding results, his PA Jennifer was Great, Got me right in and I was in hospital 7 days, just went back for my 8 week follow up, again so easy to talk to. Great Surgeon.

Wow! Dr Reichwage is my superhero! I just had a minimally invasive surgery today which has 100% fixed my issue that I was dealing with for a year. What a caring and professional neurosurgeon that I absolutely am indebted. I knew going into my surgery that I’d have the best results-self fulfilling prophecy, or just knowing I was having surgery to with a skilled professional like Dr.Reichwage? I’ll go with both, positive thinking AND the skills of the Doc (which really is the more likely). The surgical team of Dr.Reichwage and his office staff are all incredible at what they do. So, thank you so much for bettering my life!

Dr Reichwage explained what my MRI was showing & said that he could correct this.He was very thorough, spent a lot of time with me & answered all of my questions.He left a direct number to his office & said to call with any issues or questions.When I stood up after the surgery, all of my pain was gone, just as he said it would.All aspects of my dealing with Dr Reichwage were 100%. I had very bad sciatica and both of my legs would severely go numb!!!! 8 weeks later no more sciatica!!¡! It was a BIG operation and I feel that I was in good hands with Dr Reichwage and his team!!! I'm still in the healing mode getting ready to do Physical Therapy. I strongly recommend Dr Reichwage in any future back surgies!!!

I had emergency spinal surgery (lumbar diskectomy) after an injury that left me paralyzed, and Dr. Reichwage did a great job. He was also very helpful at finding me a place at West Florida Hospital for excellent rehab afterward. I can walk and am very grateful!

Never listened about the lump on my back after a lumbar fusion. His assistant kept telling it just needs time to heal. After 6 months I could barely walk so my family doctor told me to get second opinion so I went to Destin to Dr. Creek and they did a CT scan and I had an encapsulated pocket of fluid on my lumbar spine and had to have 3 surgeries in a row to clean out the infection. I had gotten chronic osteomyelitis and since my spine is crumbly I have had to have several back surgeries to correct his mess. I had to have fusions from T-10 all the way down to my sacral bone because the bones are too weak to hold the hardware. Just this year I fractured my T-9 vertebrae because my back wants to lean forward. Thanks to Dr. Reichwage I am going to be in pain for the rest of my life! Beware of this man and his assistant if she still works there! Dr. Aaron Creek in Destin is the best surgeon ever and I would recommend him to anyone hands down!

I have been in Army Special Forces for 12 years. 9 of those 12 were after Dr. Reichwage successfully performed a 3 level (ACDF) FUSION on my cervical spine. C4-C7. That's 9 years enduring serious bumps and bruises from countless airborne jumps and landing (sky diving), deployment after deployment, I could not have made this far without him. He was always polite to me, as was his staff which i appreciate but, while my surgery was very new to me, i know for a fact he probably does 2 or more surgeries like mine a week so i knew that I needed to do my own research to justify asking appropriate questions. I ask, he answered, he convinced me, i committed, as did he, and here i am almost ten years later telling my story. He changed my life forever. He improved my quality of life 10 fold. Neurosurgeons do surgery, that's what they do, its in the name. I was very disappointed to see some of the comments in some of the reviews. I think my experience speaks to a world class physician. Dr. Reichwage is an outstanding physician! In the past seven months, Dr. Reichwage has performed lumbar and cervical spine surgery on my back. I am completely satisfied with the results. He thoroughly reviewed and explained my condition, explained what the surgery would involve, and what would occur after the surgery. It’s obvious he truly cares about his patients. All members of his staff were wonderful.

My husband was scheduled with Dr. Reichwage's PA, for his initial consult. My husband doesn't handle his medical needs, he leaves that to me. There was no time, when the PA came in to see him, for him to get me on the phone. So afterwards, my husband called me and tried to give me the details, but we had questions. So, we asked the nurse to get the PA back in the room to answer them, he told my husband he would return anyway. After a long time waiting, I suggested that my husband stick his head out the door and ask would it be much longer. He did and the nurse said that it would be a few minutes but that the notes would have all the info that was discussed. I said that we'd wait. Then the nurse said that Dr. Reichwage didn't do video appointments, well I said that we'd just wait for the PA. Dr. Reichwage, was sitting near and listening the whole time, then got on the call, was very short with me, didn't fully answer my questions and didn't say goodbye or anything when he finished.

Dr. Reichwage is an excellent surgeon. He certainly fixed my problems, but his MA Teela, is one of the rudest, most unprofessional medical personnel I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with. I will NOT be going to him again simply because of her awful attitude! She seems to think SHE is the doctor rather than a mere medical assistant. Any direct communication with the doctor regarding follow up questions, making follow up appointments, or ongoing issues are intercepted by her. She rarely answers her phone, sending all messages to voicemail where they die. She has never returned any of my calls!

All I can say is RUDE, he came in not smiling and he left that way , was not pleasant at all I do not know where these Dr.s lose there compassion for people but they do ,my husband was there because his primary Dr. said he needed to see him , we didn't know what was wrong with his back that was his job ,but he acted like we needed to know what was wrong ... I have neck and spine problems , but I can tell you right now I will NOT be going to him ... you need to get some manners Dr. Reichwage !!!

I had a lumbar laminectomy on L23 and L45 I had talked to 2 other doctors so I had 3 opinions. 2 of the doctors were older like in their 50's and both wanted to do a 13 inch cut and fix 4 areas instead of just the 2 that had issues. Dr Reichwage said he would only make 2 small cuts and fix the 2 areas that needed to be fixed. Why chance doing anything to my back that did not need fixing. Needless to say I went with Dr Reichwage and boy am I glad. It has been 13 days and I am doing great
