If I could give this Dr Bentz a zero on these reviews I would. He is condescending, does not listen, does not provide any information or plan for treatment and barely spends a minute even in the room. I was informed by office staff that called to schedule a follow up that he intended to do balloon rhinoplasty which he literally never mentioned to me while I was in his office. Go to anyone else.

Do NOT go to Dr. Bentz!
I took my son to see Dr. Bentz and the entire experience was bad. He refused to listen to my son's concerns, even stating that is not why the appointment was scheduled and we would have to make an additional appointment to discuss ONE thing at a time(we drove 90 miles one way for this appointment). He dismissed all of my son's concerns, even laughing condescendingly and then going on to tell him that he is obsessing over his ailments. He didn't listen AT ALL. He only ordered allergy tests because we pushed for it but repeatedly stated there was no way allergies were causing his symptoms, all the while implying that this was made up in some way shape or form. Ironically, his allergies tests came back positive showing that he is allergic to a variety of things. My son is a mature 18 year old, very aware of his body and his health, he came to his appointment prepared, spoke articulately and respectfully (as did I). We left feeling insulted and disgusted with the way we were treated.

Don’t bother
Brenna the nurse is kind and friendly. This is not the first time I had to go to Dr Bentz. He was condescending, passive aggressive in his interactions and will make you come back numerous times for ridiculous reasons just to get more billing.

Don’t take your child to this doctor
He is incredibly rude, terrible listener, made assumptions about why we were there, without letting us explain. Made my daughter cry. Performed a procedure without my consent. Overall awful. He should not be seeing children. The problem I saw him for, has actually gotten worse since his “treatment” and I think it’s because he refused to listen to my concerns and why I was there. That said, the nurse was wonderful. But we will never go back to this doctor, ever.

Dismissive and didn’t listen
Dr. Bentz didn’t listen and was dismissive of concerns. He spent hardly more than a few seconds with me. He seemed to make a snap judgment without thoroughly listening, explaining, or caring. I would definitely look elsewhere for future ENT needs. Staff there however was friendly and helpful.

Did not listen, suggested the use of Flonase which i declined due to noted adverse side affects to which he replied, "I read to much on the internet." Did an endoscopy without telling me exactly what he was doing, sprayed a foal tasting substance, turns out some sort of anaesthesia, up my nostrils which gave me a headache and a sore throat for two and a half days. The bill was $324.00 for being a new patient, and another $472.00 for the "surgical procedure". At no point was i informed of the cost which should have been presented. Have requested two responses on patient portal from billing dept, and no response in ten days.

Dr. Bentz is a fantastic Doctor! I am a very high anxiety person and he explained the surgery and possible outcomes in detail. He was there to answer any questions or concerns I had. He is very caring. I would definitely recommend him to family and friends.
