Dr. Angel Boev, MD

My friend died soon after a minor back surgery. While Dr Boev had good reviews and provided some helpful information, I’m not sure he screened enough to make sure my friend could recover from surgery. I hope to find out more but it seemed the ME suggested heart involvement from scans.

I was blessed with meeting Dr. Boev through, F.F. Thompson Hospital. If it were not for his neurosurgery expertise I don't know if I would be walking with the ability to stand up straight. He is an amazing surgeon with amazing bed side manner, and a kind and caring heart. I appreciate what he did for me beyond measure. Highly recommended!

I never got the answer about my L4 and L5 disease that keeps me from walking strait and he is not a neurosurgeon LIKE Dr. Fox...He's great

After one full year of severe spinal pain and disability and receiving no further hope from any other medical professionals, Dr. Boev, without hesitation, took on the risk of operating on my multiple spine issues. He performed spinal fusions from T11 to L4. Now at two months postop, I have little residual pain, am not taking any pain medications and have much more freedom of movement. After being home bound and nearly bed bound for a year, I am finally getting my life back. I cannot say enough good things about his entire team. Thank you so much for your excellent care.

Dr Boev and his excellent staff changed my life. I appreciated his no nonsense, “I’m not going to sugarcoat this” for you approach to my situation. I can not express how bad these people are! they Will not treat veterans from VA reference in a timely manor. When I was scheduled with them they New I had already been waiting for months for pain management, still scheduled me for three months out. Finally the week of my appointment comes and they cancel because their provider wants to take a vacation. When I try to reschedule they tell me I’m at the back of the line again and have to wait An additional several months! If this is how they treat me for pain management I would never trust them to do what is Right for their patients, just what’s right for the pocketbook

I think Dr. Boev is great but the other people in his office prescribe medications that I couldn’t afford it wouldn’t listen to me about getting a different way cheaper prescription and now I’m the bad guy

Dr. Boev performed a L4-S1 Laminectomy and L5-S1 Fusion on me. After surgery I had immediate relief and no longer in pain. He is an excellent dr. Explains procedure very well, very personable and I would highly recommend him and his wonderful staff also.

My primary physician Dr John Genier recommended Dr. Boev for a herniated disc. This is the best advice I could of received - in a matter of 24 hours I had met with Dr. Boev had a MRI and surgery scheduled.. I have made a full recovery in a short period of time. The experience from the moment I walked into the Dr Boev office was professional and caring by not only Dr. Boev but also his entire staff. I would highly recommend Dr. Boev for any spinal surgery.
