First I waited 30 minutes in the waiting room, then 30 minutes more in exam room before seeing the Dr. While waiting in the exam room, I got to listen to a person with a beautiful accent entertain the receptionist right across from my exam room Lots of laughter and giggling. I was very surprised when the Dr with the distinctive voice walked into my room. He sat in the chair as if laying back in a recliner putting his foot up.. He barely listened to what I said and cut me off then told me what we were going to do. He did a partial neuro-exam. I have a tumor in my vertebrae. C-3 C-4 pushing on my spinal cord n nerve on the opposite, 2 genetic mutations that increase my likelihood of cancer growing faster than normal. He'd see me in 6 months but no imaging for a year. He put things in my report I felt were untrue, making me appear more capable then I am. He ignored my pain, and migraines. When the Dr. Left the room, my husband said, 'He didn't believe you.' I got a different neurosurgeon.

I recently tried to make an appointment with Dr. Reid however, he would not see me. Instead he wants to refer me to an occupational Medicine. I have been seeing doctors for years who tell me I need surgery and he won't even take the time to see me or order a new MRI to properly assess my condition. He was referred to me by one of his previous patients and I informed his office of that. Perhaps because I am a workers compensation case he felt there wasn't enough money in it for him.

I am a retired RN. I worked in the OR for 20 years. I know many neurosurgeons. Dr. Reid is absolutely one of the finest neurosurgeon I have met. He is kind, caring and he listens. I would send anyone I know to him. He is truly incredible. I had great results from my surgery. It was the decompression of my ulnar nerve. If you need a neurosurgeon HE IS THE ONE.

Dr. Reid is amazing. His staff at the office not so much. They ignore you standing at the window. Wait until you go sit down and then decide to open the window and speak to you. They have personalities of wet mops!

I just have to reiterate what everyone else is saying-Dr. Reid listens and has a wonderful demeanor about him. Turns out that my problem is more of a hip issue and he can't help me-I still felt good about the appt. I now have my Neuro Doc if I need him in the future. Dave S.

Doctor Reid not only listens, but he gives patients time to explain their issues without second-guessing them and interrupting them. He also educates patients on the physicality of what they are experiencing. I would certainly recommend him to family and friends.

When I first met Dr Reid almost a yr ago, I thought he was real nice. And a Very Good surgeon. A few months ago, he did My surgery. I continued to like him after My surgery. but my last few post op visits he seems like a totally different person. He rushes you in and out , does not listen to your post-op complaints, etc. I guess once he gets all his money from ins company he doesn't care about you any more. He was fine until he started bringing that NP in the exam room with him every visit.

I was so fearful of making the decision to have surgery so close to my spine. Dr. Reid explained everything thoroughly, without pressuring me to make a decision. After deciding to proceed with the fusion, Dr. Reid was patient, thorough, and made me feel so comfortable. His confidence was contagious! I am now 1 1/2 years post fusion and am pain free. This surgery totally changed my life! Thank you, Dr. Reid

Dr. Reid has changed my life. After having a horrible experience with my previous surgeon, and surgery as well as being in chronic pain for 2 years I went to Dr. Reid for a second opinion. He was able to pin Point my problem within 10 mins of my time and explained everything thoroughly to me. After having an L5-S1 discectomy I have had significant improvment with my pain, weakness, movements and nerve issues. Thank you Dr.Reid for your true compassion and understanding of your patients.
