Dr. Hendifar is truly an amazing professional. He is a delight to work with. I have total confidence in him and have been so impressed with his care and his supportive leadership through my cancer diagnosis.

I would not recommend Dr. Hendifar. When a recent PET scan showed that my cancer metastasized to a different organ, his response was, “I’m not concerned. It happens all the time,” with no explanation or reassurance. He shows no curiosity when issues aren’t obvious, dismissing valid concerns and, in my experience, he gas lights by implying their symptoms aren’t real.Additionally, he is consistently late—often by over an hour—without apology or acknowledgment of the inconvenience caused. I respect that doctors often run behind, but it's his total disregard for patients’ time and inability to even offer a kind apology that isn't right. I am going to find an alternative to Dr. Hendifar. I think he's a great liability to Cedar Sinai.

Dr Hendifar is so knowledgeable and helpful I really appreciate his kind manner too.

I saw Dr. Hendifar at each visit. After seeing multiple oncologists, I chose him after the first 5 minutes into our first visit because of his wonderful listening skills and willingness to discuss treatment options with me. He is the best oncologist, because Dr. Hendifar is not only a wonderful listener, he is also extremely kind and caring, professional, expert in his field, very attentive to his patient's needs, and extremely responsive. I felt I was in the best hands possible and I knewI was getting the best care possible thanks to Dr. Hendifar and his team.

I don't know what is motivating the comments of the "one star" grade from the prior commentator. Hendifar is a brilliant guy and has saved my life. I less than 5 months of treatment under his regimen my liver lesions have gone away and the head tumor on my cancer is less than 60% of its original size.
