I’ve been seeing Dr Assili for a number of years. Was referred by another dr because of a stubborn toe infection. After a month or so of a few tests, he (and another infectious disease dr) figured it out and a clear bill of health! He’s great and he’s stuck with me! Very good, laid back, and patiently answers all questions.

Dr. Assili is an outstanding podiatrist. I’ve seen many, unfortunately, and he is the best at diagnosing and treating. He also sees the foot a bit more holistically and sent me to an expert for better fitting shoes, which resolved a lot of my long-standing problems. He is honest and caring and a credit to his profession.

My story is a bit long, but needs to be told. I was afflicted by a bunion and a hammer toe, the toe was the one that really hurt. I am a walker, I walk 3- 4 miles a day and my foot problem brougth this to a stop. I went to Dr. Assili he has the patient and the expertise to explain in details the dynamic of each movement of the foot. Dr. Assili is quite conservative, therfor he recomanded spacer between the toes, special shoes and gave me a local cortisone shot. I had some improvement, this was done twice during several months. It became apparent that if I wanted to go back to my normal life style, surgery was necessary. Here is where I appreciated Dr. Assili professionalism. He explain the pro and con of the surgery, and the recovery. I chose the surgery, I will never be able to thank Dr. Assili, 2 months later I could walk fairly well, now 5 months later I go for my usual 3 miles a day without any problem at all. We found Dr. Assili 15 years ago when my mother was in rehab from cardiac surgery and needed her feet attended to. Since that time, we’ve seen Dr. Assisi regulaly. In all these years, he’s been on time or ahead of schedule for all appointments. Unbelievable, I know. He’s direct, efficient, and has a big heart. I have taken my now 93 year old mother to many doctors over the years. Dr. Assilli is our favorite.

Dr. Assili took his time listening to all of my concerns and examining me. He was very informative, thorough, patient with all of my questions, and had a bedside manner that just made you feel comfortable and in a safe space. He was also very personable and I felt like he was truly concerned about finding the solution and me healing rather than just writing off a prescription and sending me on my way. I would strongly recommend Dr. Assili and you will not find a better doctor!

Worst doctor ever. I had an appointment he decided not to show up. Can you believe that. I trecked all the way there with a torn Achilles.

I saw Dr. Assili for an ankle injury. I was impressed that he took the time to read my intake forms before he came into my exam room! He was very professional and kind. He took the time to listen to my concerns answer all my questions regarding my healing and treatment. I also like his philosophy of not jumping right to surgery and expensive scans. But to conservatively treat and monitor my injury, follow up in a few weeks to re-evaluate. A+ in my book!

Dr. Assili is the best! My entire family has seen him for over ten years for issues ranging from minor injuries to surgery. He is a no- nonsense, straight shooting doc - he's the best!
